About LinkBacksHas anyone here had their Silhouette done at DL? I've never had it done but since I saw the saw the CBS Segment on the Sunday morning show I will go and see if Sylvia Fellows is there to make my Silhouette.

I had my daughter's done in March. She is 7. When my other two were younger (now 18 and 15) I had theirs done so I plan on hanging all three up when I did the other ones out of the shed. I love them and think the person did a good job. Good luck.
LOL, when I read this thread I thought they were reopening the Studio on Main Street which was making me think when it ever closed. Only time I ever had one done was in elementary school with black construction paper and white crayon or chalk and then it was laminated. Not really the same thing but sorta...
My brother and sister and I all had one done when we were much younger and then a few years back, all three of us all grown up...we had another done as a gift for my mom. She balled. It's a great thing, very old fashioned, and the people doing the pictures do an amazing job. Worth the time it takes (which is quite fast) and not that pricey.

I saw that segment and I loved it. We just had our kids done two weeks ago. It's one of those things that gets ignored or overlooked, but that kind of makes it a "hidden" treasure. Sylvia did our silhouettes and told us she had just recently done Heidi Klum's kids as well as one for James Spader.
1Disneynut, don't bash the silhouettes! It's a lost art form! Have some respect.

My boys just got them done two weeks ago. One son got his done with Goofy and one with Stitch. It's amazing how fast she can cut those out!

No kidding, I had our girls done about 2 months ago and it was incredible how fast it is done. I figured it was going to be this stop in and then pick them up later thing. We'll be back in town in a couple of weeks and we're getting another set done so I can have one at the office. They really are a great thing to take back home.
Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.
My parents had one of each of us four kids done when we were very little and one of them in the middle of the frame. I've always loved it and I want to do the same when we have kids. Next time we're there my wife and I will get ours.
They are amazingly talented artists.

I am a big fan of Jiminy Cricket, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to do a silouhette of me alongside him.

Sylvia did the silhouette of my 2 kids with Cinderella for my Wife's Mother's day present. Fortunately it went over really well. I came back to pick it up 6 hours later and she remembered our name. She is a living Disney treasure. Great value too.
