Holy Moly Batman!!! It has been two months since I have visited the resort! I was so ecstatic when I found out that I was going to Disneyland :yea:



I wasn’t really in a photogenic mood which means I didn’t take many pictures, which also means there will be a lot of holes in this report… but that’s ok! :thumbup:



We have had some house guests staying over from Kansas and the last thing they wanted to do before they left was take a trip to Disneyland so of course I volunteered to be their tour guide



We left our house at around 10:00 in hopes of getting in the park by 11:00 (We actually didn’t get in the park til about 12:30 because the people that were meeting us there took the wrong freeway and ended up getting lost in LA!) :eek:



[FYI, I am probably going to repeat a bunch of old updates but I am doing this report as if NOBODY has heard of any of them] :)

BLAB was our first ride of the day… I was with the 6 year old… I would have scored higher but I was too busy jerking the ride vehicle left or right so he wouldn’t hit his target :evil:

I got chills up and down my back seeing the lagoon again (I didn’t remember the waterfalls being so high!)

Absolutely amazing Imaginers! The sound system on the subs are stunning and of course I loved the nod to the sea serpent. Troy said he found a mermaid last night… I did not even know there was one! :lol: I loved everything about the ride except for one little thing… During some of the show scenes, I felt like I was just looking at a television screen, which is basically what it is, but sometimes it is a bit more apparent then others. It was just an amazing feeling being on the subs again after it being closed for ten years :gladsad:

By the time we got off of the subs, it was already 9:15 so we rushed to the hub to watch the fireworks but I was skeptical that they were going to be shown due to the breeze we felt. The show ended up getting canceled but that was fine because everybody was let down by the show being canceled so everybody left! :yea:



I begged and begged and begged to stay for the 10:30 showing of F! so I could see the updates to the show… they caved! We went over to snag a spot for the show. We went off in pairs to find dinner because none of us had eaten yet. I walked right to the front of the “line” for Café Orleans and got a heaping bowl o Clam Chowder… mmmmmm



Once again, SHOW TIME!



The updates to the show were awesome… The new Princess barges are friggin beautiful! You can see a video of them I found on You Tube (watch it all the way through)

Once the Evil Queen comes out, during the first clash of thunder, the floats “disappear” as if by magic. From the video, it looks like there is pyro on the barge, but it is just lights shimmering Also, the Beauty and the Beast barge COMPLETELY missed its cue. It was basically following the crocodile out after the Colombia. The barge backed up a bit and was engulfed in fog. The strings that hold Pinocchio up now change colors instead of simply staying the solid green. And the Evil Queen’s crown is GINORMOUS! It is completely unnecessary but it’s pretty funny. There was no fire on the right side of the river when Mickey was battling Bertha. Bertha had some trouble going back into the stage so an immense amount of fog was pouring out of the stage even during the Finale. And one last update that I can remember… two words… Trapped Doors… O-M-G! I don’t know if they just fixed them up, or if they completely replaced them because they were amazing :bow:



We waited about 10 or 15 minutes for the crowds to dissipate which really helped when we left



Jeeeez, if I wasn’t there to guide them, they would be lost in the park for the whole night! I said “Lets go” and they starting walking towards BTMRR :lol:

I was like, “Hey, Main St. is this way!”



The trams were still completely backed up so we stopped in the World of Disney for a bit of shopping around



It was a really great day and I was happy to be back at the park again :)

Well....It is gonna be hard to top that with my lack of pictures....so yea...I will not even try to top it

well on the 14th which just happened to be my last day of school I had the honor of going to Stinky ol' Gradnight...and I just finished my Junior year...so I was SOOO happy about that

I got to my school around 10 o'clock since we had to go on buses to get there....Thank god my friend and I ordered tickets early....We got to go on one of the charter buses....which just happened to be chaperoned by my band Teacher.....will I ever have a Charter bus ride Without him being the Chaperone.....Who knows

well...the bus I was on entered into the LONG line of buses waiting to enter into the pino. Parking lot

.....yea...that was the wrong parking area aparently...so our bus had to go all the way around to the Timon parking....now that sucked another line that we had to wait in

for those of you who have not been to a grad night in forever or or have yet to go to one...insted of the routine bag check stand....there is a pat down...lol...now I have never been around a group of people with the lowest IQ's...both about Disney and common sence.....but I about busted up laughing when the person in front of me mentioned "They just redid space mountain last week with some red hot chili pepper music...and a LOOP!!"....I tried not to laugh...but I think I did

well anyways....My friend I was with is a girl, and their pat down lines go MUCH faster....so yea I had my friend wait in the park for me.....I finally passed the guy who pat me down saying "I am a winner" referencing the lack of items mentioned on "The list"

now....finally I was in the park...it is strange using a paper ticket and not my awesome pass...lol

but I wanted to go on space mountain first.......

well yea...after that little "event" I took my friend the long way to thunder via the path by the lagoon....I started to cry...since I knew the ride was closed...and I would not be able to ride it :(...but that was quickly broken by a group of stupids who snuck cigarettes into the park.....they blew the smoke right in my face...and the face of my friend...who is HIGHLY asthmatic

well thunder was over quickly...so I decided to go onto Haunted Mansion to show my Friend how
much better our HM is than Florida's

The story starts at 11am...I wake up to 4 missed calls and a voice mail from my DL buddy....she wanted to know if I could go to DL around 5.....I jumped at that chance :)

well 5:30 rolled around and my ride was here...and we had a couple stops to make
but 6 o'clock rolled around and I was finally there
Due to some complications Jeff was not able to make it :(
but the trip would continue.....to be a night of broken promises...and a run in with Sam...lol

ok...well we parked in mickey which is the highest I have ever had to park in that structure...lol
I rushed down to the tram stop...and right when I got there...a half empty tram left...I was sad and had to wait 5 minutes....so I took these pics

I loved this ride-through

the moment the doors to the Changing portrate hall way opened up
My alarm went off...signaling that it was midnight...I was already having a wonderful ride :)
I took my own buggie to appease the Jeff God :)
and I realised that I missed Jeff...and I cried
and then I stopped when I realised that the hat for that one espectro
in the mirror...it was funny
well it was time to go and I was tired one last picture in the park before I go

Great TR! As for the Tina Turner look a like ... I could swear she was attending the FNSV Media Preview. I got lucky enough to ride it on the 10th, and this lady ... with the same hair and clothes was making a fuss over somebody on the subs. Good thing you didn't capture the front side, because that was just as scary as her hair.
