Best Performance on Main St.

I know we have a lot of old guard on here so I wanted to hear a couple stories. Best Performance on Main St...

For me it was either 98 or 99, they had a high school band whose mascot was "The Highlanders" and they all marched down, in kilts, huge band that included a group of bagpipes along with the drum line. It is one of the only times where more people paid attention to the band then the actual parade. You could hear the pipes all along the parade route, was really amazing, like being at the Queen of Scot's Highland Games.

Hmm, sounds kinda like the Granada Hills Highlanders!

I honestly can't think of any fantastic performances on Main St. that I've seen; my family was never one to hang out on Main much, and I suppose that set in as I grew up. Valencia High School of Placentia was pretty good though, as was La Habra High School (also the Highlanders, but no pipes!)
