What's your favorite Disneyland water Ride?
Defintly "Splash Mtn" closest thing to a water coaster. I love the black cave part where the log goes out of the water briefly...I would love to see WDI expand this capability of a water coaster!
It's gotta be Storybook. I can't help it- as a former Storybook Girl, I am biased :p
I think Splash Mountain, it's so well themed and by the end your at least half-ways wet! It's GREAT!!!
I love POTC it's one of my favorites, period.
See thats my dielma, as a ride experiance overall I love love love POTC. I miss the thick fog in the battle scene though! Anyways point is as a water ride Spalsh has more drops, superior technology and you get way wetter.Quote:

So Splash is my obvious choice.
I'll go with POTC. There's so much detail. I always spot something I've never noticed before. And it's nice and relaxing. :)
I'm afraid of heights, otherwise I might pick Splash Mountain. :p
Defintly has to be splash its the one place in DL where u can cool down
Splash Mtn is over-rated. It's all about Pirates.
As a ride, I love PotC but as a WATER ride, Splash Mountain is the best. I mean, you get wet, there are drops... ;)
Yeah, my vote went to Splash 'cause it's more of a WATER ride, though Pirates is the better attraction overall.
Ok, you can splash down a bit on Pirates if everybody leans way forward, but you gotta love (or hate) that wall of water that often hits you at the bottom of the big Splash drop or that special jet of directed water that squirts the rear seat occupant straight in the face!
Jungle Cruise, Storybook Land and Small World are boat rides in the same since as the canoes, the Mark Twain Riverboat and the Sailing Ship Columbia. Even the barrel bridge on Tom Sawyer Island are a sort of self propelled "water ride" experience.
Perhaps the question should have been phrased, "What is your favorite fast paced water ride? To this end, my answer is unequivocally Splash Mountain. Here is a list of my favorite fast paced Disneyland water rides -
1) Splash Mountain
2) Grizzly River Run - GRR (this ride is a part of the Disneyland Resort)
3) Pirates (it does have one or two small, yet quick drops - and might even be more dynamic when it is refurbished and retooled in the near future)
4) Matterhorn Bobsleds (the splash down at the end makes it Disneylands first fast paced water ride)
5) Subs (the waterfall crashes down on your sub as you pass beneath it into the cave)
It's always a pirate's life for me.
Mad Hatter's Tea Party on a rainy day.
