Anything new in Bug's Land in DCA?

I haven't been in that area since it basically first opened (maybe a year or less). I've never had the motivation to go back because, in my opinion, all the rides were for little kids...and since I'll be going back in September, should I go check it out again? Is there anything different as far as rides or anything? I realize it's pretty much a children's area, but so is Fantasy Land and I love those rides.

Nothing new...but my 10 year old and I never miss it. Love the theming and even though the rides are for little bits, we still go on them. Especially Flik's Flyers and Heimlich's Train (we love Heinlich).

I saw some lightbulbs that have been changed, I guess those are "new".

I went for the first time during Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed myself quite a bit, I was also with a great group of MC'ers as well. We got on Heimlich and Flik's Flyers. Nothing says fun like cramming five adults into one of those things. My favorite though was It's Tough To Be A Bug show, some parts REALLY surprised me!

I'd say if anything you should go see the show, the waiting area is one of the best in the park ... and the music is really neat too.

IMO, you really can't compare Fantasyland to "a bug's land." Fantasyland is timeless, full of creative rides with great sets and classic storylines. A "chew chew" train, spinning cups, flying boxes, and bumper cars hardly can be put into the same category.

I love the watermelon and the animal crackers. And I wish it was a bit longer.
