Remember, Dreams Come True are scheduled to go off at 9:25pm, as usual and then there will be a special Fourth of July show afterwards. You should be able to see the higher fireworks from Ball Rd., but you won't get the full effect. In front of the castle is still the best seat in the house.

If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
Did you guys read the portal??

SMART... a way to make money to have people see the fireworks at DTD parking lot...
That's weird because there's MUCH better views of the fireworks from the Harbor side of the resort, and a lot of totally free parking near Mimi's/HoJo etc... Of course you can't park there all day but I mean just for 20 to 30 min for the show I see alot of people who do. Even hotel parking is normally less than $10 for at least the first hour. I guess people just see "Disneyland Resort" and think there is no other place to park (for those just trying to see the show from outside the Resort).
I'd rather see the show from the Harbor side, or behind the resort, Hotel Menage/Sheraton area if you want the fireworks really in your face. Of course nothing is as good as being inside Disneyland to enjoy the music and full effects.
And another tip- you could always park inside Mickey & Friends and just watch the show from there. Just go up to the top level towards the edge near the park... almost as close as you can get to where the pyro is launched. $11 if you don't have any type of Annual Pass with parking.
