Really Hoping you mean the Ol' Swiss Family song on the record player! I love that. Also the old swing music you hear in the Indy/JC Boathouse is nice.

It's been said several times in here.. but I LOVE the Main Street loop..

It makes me walk with more of a bounce and I always find myself humming along..

I get that "I'm at disneyland, yay!" feeling whenever I hear it and am walking through MS..

Ah yes, that funky little trumpet tune which IMO reminds me of some of the Burt Bacharach (sp?) tunes of the late 60's and early 70's -- and do take that as a compliment.

I just noticed that they still play that song in the queue for Autopia!

Jump5's version is on Disneymania 2. I think.

Being part toon, I find the cartoony themes playing in Toontown fun. Of course theres also the music on Indy and Star Tours that you can't match. Space Mountain's music, past and present are also favorites of mine. Also the Paradise Pier loop... don't laugh.

Remember, Dreams come true!... and mermaids are hot, even on Halloween.

Oooh, there are some great choices here! I love the Condor Flats loop and the music in the Soarin' queue and during Soarin' itself. And count me in among those who enjoy the Main St. music too.

The music in the parks really set a wonderful tone that make the whole experience so awesome.

    YES!!!

Bunny Berrigan's "I Can't Get Started" is a masterpiece and sets the perfect mood for the 1930's swing era. Another great song is Vera Lynn's "We'll meet again."

I haven't purchased all the albums yet but I do have the loop...along with Main Street, Condor Flats, and Club 33/Disney Gallery.

EDIT: I have to add 'A Bug's Land' to the list, I love the soundtrack to 'A Bug's Life.'

When I need a 'get away' @ work I will listen to a few of them.

There seems to be such great theming around that attraction (especially being a "Zonie") that one day I'll just have to get over my fear of going on a ride like that.

Do I assume that "We'll meet again" is the same as the song in the movie "Dr. Strangelove"? A classic.

That's it! The ToT version is a little more 'intimate' in that it's just Vera Lynn singing through the entire song.

I love the ToT and Indy/JC loops, being an erstwhile swing dancer. I also adore the Main Street loop. The Esplanade loop is pretty neat, too. The one I cannot stand is the loop around the Golden Vine Winery in DCA. HATE HATE HATE smooth jazz. I wish every smooth jazz artist would be ripped apart by rabid ducks.

    Re: Music at Disneyland

As much as I love the music loops in the various areas of the park (especially Main Street and NOS), it's the music in the attractions themselves that really does it for me. So much great stuff. Indy, HM, and POTC are three favorites of mine.

Heh, I remember standing outside Indy when I was younger, humming the Ark theme, and wondering if the chords went Cm - F#m - Cm or Cm - G#7b5 - Cm. Good times, man. It's the former, by the way.

    Re: Music at Disneyland

You guys have mentioned a lot of my favorites .

I love the Main Street music loop because I'm also into musicals, and I love hearing (and sometimes singing along) with the stuff from "Hello Dolly" and "The Music Man", etc.

I love hearing the Roger Rabbit score in HPB. That's one of my favorite movie scores.

And I LOVE the carnival-ized Beach Boys music in Paradise Pier. That will be one thing I'd be sorry to see go if they made it into a more "period" setting.

Last time, the music on California Screamin' was finally working (one good thing to come out of the Rockin' promotion) and it really enhanced the ride's minimal theme of being a modern coaster disguised as a classic coaster, with the alternation between the carnival-y music and the rock music.

Also, I have a Disney karaoke CD with "You've Got a Friend in Me", and once I heard it playing without singing and was mentally transported right to the Esplenade, epsecially the part near the end with "you're gonna see it's our des - tin - y."

The music on Screamin' wasn't working before? I'd heard it many times.
