What is your earliest memory of Disneyland.

Mine was riding the Viewliner with my dad at age 3. That "picture" has never left me.

So, what was your first memory.

Not being able to ride Peter Pan by myself, and being scared of Pirates.

On King Arthur's Carrousel, seeing my Dad take a picture and wave each time I came around on his side. I was three and it was August 1970 - my first time!

In 1973 watching my 10 year old sister fighting with our 7 year old cousin on Dumbo over the controls and nearly falling out.

Going to the Tiki Room with my grandma.

I only went with her and have gone only once since she's passed.

I am still not sure if it is truly a memory or just a "memory of what has been told to me" but at the age of 2, we were at DL and peter pan came up to say hi. The movie had just recently been re-released at the local theater so I knew who he was and was thrilled. Then Captain Hook snuck up behind me and scared the bejesus out of me and I screamed and cried. I would not go near ANY park characters for about 1-2 more years!

Getting lost on the way there and being sooo afraid we would never find it!

Then riding the motor boats with my dad...he had me convinced that I was steering them...WHEW...almost hit a few rocks too!! I was only 5 and my brother and I wore matching corduroy outfits...his was short pants and mine was a jumper. ahhh....good times, good times.

I'm not sure what my earliest is, but an early one is riding the PeopleMover through the land of Tron.

Walking back down Main Street after spending my whole third birthday in the park. I was with my grandpa--and, apparently, my parents as well--and I remember seeing candy and toys in the windows of the shops. It was dark, and as we entered the old parking lot--perhaps where Soaring is now--the fireworks show began behind our backs. Kill me for the cliche, but it was magical.

I have two and I am not sure which is my first:

Riding IASW and my Mom telling me that if I put my hand in the water I would get shocked, as the boats were propelled by electricity.

    and

Crying and being afraid to ride Space Mountain, but loving it afterward and wanting to go again.

Walking up to the Disneyland gate and throwing up near the planters... thanks to a long car ride (well, for like a five year old)...

Age 7 ... 1968 ... me with my mom and dad prior to my mom dying in 1970. I remember them buying me an Alice in Wonderland watch with a figurine and I remember going on IASW with my mom.

For me - first visit (at least that I recall) 1960 or 61 - age 4 or 5...

I vaguely remember being scared by the Apache dancers at the Indian Village, and seeing the late Jimmie Dodd and the Mousketeers in person at the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...definitely remember the pancakes at Aunt Jemima's and riding both the Disneyland RR, the Mine Train, the subs and Monorail.
