You could do it on a Jet Ski! Just be careful not to crash into a hippo or drown Ariel, the Little Mermaid.

Re: Jungle Cruise ~ 100 Times in 1 Day ~ Would it be possible?

Interesting question. A Skipper on his last day tried to do as many as he could in an 8hr period. In a sense he cheated because he would dock and then run up to the next boat

In order to pull off 100 trips it would have to be an offseason weekend. You need no crowd and more hours. Also you need fast Skips with quick trip times (good luck on that) and you need loader that can keep the river moving (ummm yeah like I said good luck).

Had you attempted this last off season I would have said it is not only possible but probable. I knew that crew and we were the only crew to run 9 LOADED boats (current size... they used to run 11 small ones). We also didn't take 15 minutes to do a 7.5 trip.

    So, that's what happened.

I think you'll fall short of 100 and go nuts well before that number. The exposure to that many bad jokes would push me over the edge. After the 37th crack about the "backside of water" would drive me to sacrifice myself to those angry, wiggling-eared hippos.

I would rather go on something like Indy, which is a different experience everytime. Listening to the same spiel 100 times?!

Re: Jungle Cruise ~ 100 Times in 1 Day ~ Would it be possible?

In the off season, the park doesn't run 8am to midnight.
So it may be more difficult to get in the # of trips needed,
    even with a short line.

I did do it 13 times in a row one evening. The line was
practically zero each time, so I did do that in a relatively
short period of time. And it wasn't in the off season.

I'm may have to seriously consider attempting this maniacal
excursion ~ sometime during my next trip in a couple weeks.
Yeah, it will be busy, but at least I'm am pretty sure I can
best my own record, and set a number that pretty much no
one would really want to even attempt.

I don't think the question is whether it's possible, but why you would want to waste a whole day only riding Jungle Cruise

I already answered it a couple ways, in both my posts,
but to answer it ANOTHER way. It's the same reason
as the old question "Why do they climb Everest?"

    Because it's there!

    Because it's a challenge.

Because it's something not everyone would want to do.

and perhaps, because no one else (or very few) have ever
    done it before

and perhaps the best reason is to see the expression on
people's face when you can honestly tell them

I think I was there for that... actually remember a small group specifically stating that they had done it 13 in a row.

Think of it as a "learning opportunity" take the worst of the jokes and try to improve upon them. Likewise go scene by scene and see if you can come up with something better. THAT would be a great trip report thread. How do you think the Skips came up with so many jokes to submit? We took trips.........

I think one would get annoyed at the repetitive jokes like

    "You're in de-nile"

"This elephant is so rare i guarantee you will never see another one again" *second one appears behind the skipper*
    "Difficult takes a day
    Impossible takes a week"

I was in a party of one, so someone must have copied me

Ooooooh, yeah, I like the idea of taking the worst jokes
and coming up with something better, and seeing how many
times the same jokes are repeated. I know there are a few
jokes about the gorilla reaching out for the bananas on the
box of explosives, but it's not too often I hear Skippers joking
about that scene, in my most recent expeditions.
