Re: Jungle Cruise ~ 100 Times in 1 Day ~ Would it be possible?

I don't think it could be possible but I would not want to join that experiment to try it! I couldn't stand the corny jokes and gags from the JC Skippers all day long! I'd probably jump out into the water after the 10th time hearing the "Backside of Water" gag!

I think if you brought music and a book, you could probably manage.

To bad I have school and lack of transport from bay area or I would do it on any ride. I haven't been to the park in 6 years
I was a few minutes away from Hong Kong Disneyland and didn't make it but got this cool picture though

It gets difficult getting in and out of the boat with your arms wrapped around behind your back.

Yeah just make your own soundtrack....
Want jokes? Take your walkman or ipod and listen to Eddie Murphy, Dane Cook, Pulp Fiction Soundtrack, Paris Hilton's musical debut album.... Whatever you want!

I'd put money down that you could make it 200 rides.
"Peter," she asked, trying to speak firmly, "what are your exact feelings to me?"
"Those of a devoted son, Wendy."
"I thought so," she said, and went and sat by herself at the extreme end of the room.

I just can't help but think that if you are taking things like music and books, your defeating the whole point of riding, not to mention being extremely rude to the Skippers... just my thought.

On the bright side it would be an opportunity to test my theory about the cookie cutter spiel. You would definately notice if there was a common spiel that used specific jokes. In fact you could literally "poll" the jokes to see how often they were used. You could also try to develop the jokes and figure out a way to make them funny... lots of potential... please make a TR if you do it.

This sounds like a really good idea to me. As long as someone is doing something like this, may as well do some good as well.

BTW: I did IASW 12 times in a row (w/o getting off the boat) and I could not have done another. As my eyeballs were beginning to float. This was a very, very slow day in the fall one year, several years ago. The first six times there was no one waiting in line. After that I started getting maybe half boat of people with me. After 6 or 7 times I was just in a trance, one trip around the world just ran into the other.

Anyone planning marathon rides needs to schedule "necessity" stops as well as t/o for food and water. Must keep hydrated or you may start to hallucinate worse than just the normal mind numbing experience of the ride marathon.

I would be game for something like this, maybe not the Jungle Cruse though. Maybe the DLRR would be better. Good stopping point in New Orleans Square for "necessity" stops, and maybe quick snack and water.

    Good luck,
