Re: Now that the Subs are back, how do some of you voyagers like them?

It's been a LONG time since I rode the old subs, about 20 years, and the clearest memory I have of them is that the scenery was very drab, almost black and white.

All the color in the lagoon and show building is outstanding. The improvement in the show building is top notch. I'd give them 10 out of 10 for that but I think they could have done better in the lagoon. The coral and ruins are beautiful but given the array of sea life on the great barrier reef I think they should have more and larger 3D fish in the lagoon. How about something that simulates a large school of fish or some animated larger fish? I'd give them 8 out of 10 for the lagoon. It's much better than it was but it could still use some more love.

You can also put me down as someone who has no objection to Pixar/Nemo in Tomorrowland. Not just to get the Subs resurected but because I never saw the Subs as all that "Tomorrow" in the first place.

Why would you not bother?? It seems silly to avoid an new attraction and not even ride it to form your own opinion....

I don't even remember a set for the jellyfish scene, just mirrors to make it seem to go on forever.

The set that bugged me was the actual volcano set. That's the reason we are taking the voyage supposedly and it looks so cartoony and has so much going on all around it that it kinda looses the climatic danger it should be for discovering this active volcano.

The jellyfish scene and the volcano scene, IMO are amazing.

*edit* I've ridden the subs 4 times since it's return, and two of those rides were without any special effects going. Seeing the transition between the two is...well it just makes me appreciate lighting and the like sooo much more

Dude, don't let others' opinions make you form your own. You let everyone else tell you what to think and you accept their thoughts as fact, and you'll just join the crowd of sheep and follow them off a cliff...
