Why does no one ever call for them to put something in the MotorBoat Lagoon, its a huge piece of unused real estate. I know it sucked but as a kid I thought it was great, not realy a Fantasyland ride but they should put something over there, and no the smokers area does not count. A water show or something. Doesnt anyone agree.

Really, what a waste, it was huge , how big of an emergency exit do you need.
If ever consideration was given to converting the Autopia to a 'Cars' attraction, one could extend the track to fill the Motor Boat Lagoon area with a new 'load station' for the 'Cars' attraction, artificially giving it a 'Fantasyland address'. Or they could just put the PeopleMover in the Lagoon. Or put me in the lagoon for bringing up the 'Cars' thing...
The Peoplemover track needs the attention because that attraction brought notivible movement and life to Tomorrowland. With nothing happening atop those giant cemenent pillars, those beams are reallly just plain useless. The motoboat lagood does deserve attention, but really, Peoplemover track takes presidence.
Besides, the motorboat dock/Fantasia Gardens is now used as Nemo line space. Until the line dies down, I doubt they would do any work over in that area to make any kind of attraction.
You have to seek out the old motorboat lagoon area. The Peoplemover tracks whack you in the face like a stinky wet towel.

Useless, those tracks provide the best shade in Tomorrowland.
I was going to say that the Peoplemover track is much more noticeable to even the casual visitor but only the die-hard Disneyland addicts know where the motorboats once were....

I don't think that your average joe that visits the park would see the old loading area for what it is and ask themselfs what is that thing, why isn't there something there? it just looks like a poorly designed water feature, and it is pretty well obscured by the odv carts and such. But the Peoplemover track, how can you miss that? it sticks out like a sore thumb and most people can see it and wonder why or what it was.
That is why people complain and want to see something. It should either dissapear completely or have something on it to provide some movement in the area again.
When you take into account how much space there is between IASW and the Nemo Subs, its the biggest unused ares of the park, I demand something go there.
That lagoon was small, what about DCA?

no one mentioned that the track is there and in your face and ready to go! we just need some electricity running and put on some kind of car!
the lagoon requires alot of work and possible drainage and its not even as big as it was anymore.
