    Favorite Good Neighbor Hotel(Moderate)

What's your favorite moderately priced lodging near the Parks?

Not everyone is listed but most are. Only hotels listed as Good Neighbor Hotels-moderate- are listed in this poll.

Drat...forgot to mark this one a poll

    Embassy Suites. or...

Desert Palms if you cant or don't need a suite.

    No question!

The Best Western Anaheim Inn. Not the cheapest but always clean, comfortable, and close.(Almost directly across Harbor Blvd. from the walk-in entrance.)

But their double rooms have 2 double beds, not queens.

    Re: Favorite Good Neighbor Hotel(Moderate)

My wife and I have stayed at the Annabella on several DL trips and it was always a great experience.

The staff was always friendly and very accomodating and the rooms are very clean and comfy.
Once, a couple of yrs. ago, we were following the Tour of California bicycle race from SF to the stage in the Santa Inez mtns. We decided to go for a last minute trip to DL after the stage.
With traffic and all we got to Anaheim at about 9:30 or 10:00 pm on a Friday night and could not find a room anywhere.
We stopped in to the Annabella on a whim and they gave us a suite for the price of a regular room. We went to DL the next day and were able to keep the room another night.

I've only stayed at BWPPI, Carousel and Tropicana (I always aim for near the crosswalk) and I would stay at any one of the three again. They are all pretty similar to me- I go with the cheapest rate at the time of my trip.

I've stayed at the Candy Cane for 2 years. I was going to stay at the Annabelle but...things happened. I really enjoy the Candy Cane pending you can get a 2nd story room. Being quasi-hungover on NYmorning and then hearing the backing up of a truck outside your window at 7am blows, that's what happened first year we stayed there.

Our family favors the Candy Cane Inn and Howard Johnson. The Clarion is OK along with the Jolly Roger.
