    The Positives of California Adventure

With all these negative DCA comments and ideas for change (even though it does need some) I feel that I must ask this, what is the thing you like most about DCA. Even the people who hate it must like something in/about it. Just trying to create a more positive thread.

    It's never crowded

Seriously, I love Soarin' Over California (it's the perfect ride to end the day). And I like most of the theming in the Redwood area.

I've seen many "change" threads but I must have missed the "hate" ones you're referring to.

The thing I like best about DCA - the Electrical Parade.

    ...It has well-maintained bathrooms...

Oh, and Monsters Inc. is a pretty good attraction- creative use of limited space, and a sorely needed dark ride.

Grand Californian is a plus as well, as it's well-themed and absolutely SILENT (as per my last two trips...*knocks on wood*)

Ya maybe I'm going crazy, but I do see hate comments on this and other sites, wait do I see them on this site?

They also have really good locker space (when the ones at DL fill up) too.

And seriously my favorite thing aside from the EP...to listen to the California songs in the Sunshine Plaza.

Even the people who don't like DCA, including myself, will tell you that there are a few good E Tickets there. E Tickets do not make a park. It's the overall theme that's flawed. It's all in the details.

I'm not sure why you say we are all tired of the "hate" threads, but have "I hate DCA" as one of the choices. Seems like that is just asking for this to turn into a negative thread.

There's a difference between hate "comments" and hate "threads" that you first mentioned, but I see far fewer of both on this board than we used to see.

I like dca and I enjoy. The most positive thing for me about dca is the tower of terror.

So what? What is wrong with "hate comments" about DCA? You are more than free to talk about how much you love the park.

Re: The Positives of California Adventure

Maybe the OP didn't mean that everyone is using the term "hate", but there certainly isn't any shortage of people who want to knock DCA for one reason or another.

IMO, non-critical fans of DCA are in the minority on MiceChat.

There is nothing wrong with them, I just wanted to have an optimistic thread along with the pessimistic.
