Tell that to Tim Burton. He created Nightmare Before Christmas.

That's the same week Knott's Scary Farm starts. Disney is just trying to compete and with Elvira gone from Knott's Scary Farm, and Disney with Tower of Terror AND It's a Small World, Disney just might win.

what a disappointment that there's very little new stuff coming this year, last year started off so well that the powers that be should have really capitalized on it. Halloween Time is a great family alternative to Haunt and Halloween Horror Nights...but it could be so much better if they put more effort into it

And besides, Universal California isn't in the haunting biz. Most of that goes down to Universal Florida.

I don't think he is being sarcastic, IASW is definately the scariest ride in DL, can you name one scarier attraction in DL? I can't.

you might change your mind if you looked at the USH portion of www.halloweenhorrornights.com

its not where near as big or (imho) good as USF, but they are in the haunting biz

Re: "HalloweenTime" & "HMH" are back!

I like the NBC overlay, for what it is. But having it occupy the mansion for over 25% of the year is overkill. Right before Halloween through 'til XMAS is just fine for me.

So has anyone heard what is going to be new about Halloween this year?

What changes will they have from last year, good or bad?

What have you hear, please let me know as we are going down again this year, Oct. 12th, and can't wait but I would like to know what to expect!

This year we are getting together with 18 family and friends making the trip for the Spooktacular!

Personally I love HMH and think it's a fun change. I loved the movie and am happy to see it incorporated into the park.

Really looking forward to seeing the TOT ghosts even though I strongly dislike that ride. Makes my stomach wind up in my throat and there's just no room there!
I am with you. My kids love the Halloween version of the ride each year when we go down there at that time. It is always nice to change things up on rides so it is not just the same thing over and over. We make 3 trips down a year, spring time, Halloween and Christmas and we always look forward to the park during each season. It's original format in spring, Halloween now that they are getting into the spirit of things and the holidays. It's great.

And two words for you about a fearless guy and the TOT, especially when it came to the origianl version at DHS.

    Warren Sapp.

Long story short, when ESPN did their College Football Awards show a decade ago at DHS (Disney-MGM) they showed Tower of Terror, and as they got to the top, Warren Sapp just as it was going down, looked like this:
