Condor Flats Idea (Sorta)

Hello MiceChatters,

It is I, JosephTNielsen. I have been pondering an idea I've had for Condor Flats in DCA for quite a while. What this idea involves is changing the airplane next to Soarin' Over California with Launchpad McQuack's bi-plane from DuckTales. Then this area could be used as a meet-n-greet area for Launchpad McQuack.

For those of you who don't know who Launchpad is, or can't remember, here is a picture:



It's something so minor, I know, but it would add another Disney character into the already hard-to-find-Disney-Character-park known as Disney's California Adventure.

What do you guys think?

I like the idea. It would be nice to see more characters besides the fab five in teh parks. Though I wonder if the kiddies would think he was just a buff Donald?

This is true, but then maybe for Soarin' Over California Disney could change the safety video that Patrick does. They could have Launchpad do it instead.

I can hear the kids now..."Mommy! Daddy! There's Lunchpad from the flying ride!" (Yes, I meant to put Lunchpad.) LOL

I love tailspin and i would definitely go out of my way to hang out at Launchpad's bi-plane.

Sounds like a good idea. It's always nice to see characters that are themed to the area they are placed in (aviator Minnie in Condor Flats), rather than just placing Minnie and Mickey everywhere simply because they are Disney characters.

Agreed. I never understood how Stitch fit in with the California theme. I thought he lived in Hawai'i?

Why stop with Launchpad. We need all the characters from Tail Spin as well.

This concept is why the park needs to be "California" by name ONLY. A land devoted to flight, no matter where we are should be the theme.

Tail Spin is better suited for Tokyo Disney Seas!
