    Cast Member Benefits

So, I was looking into moving from NorCal to SoCal next year and working at Disneyland. What benefits do you get as a cast member? I know the ones listed on the Disney jobs page, but what about discounts, park tickets, etc? Like is there a discount to go to other Disney parks? What type of merchandise discounts are there if any? What are the restrictions on passes?

Any info would be helpful. Even if there are NO discounts, etc, I am still going to try and work there!

    Thanks in advance!

I am planning on doing the same thing! Yay!

I think you get a certain number of passes for friends per year but I don't think it's many, like less than 20 for sure. I have a friend who works down there and he's been to the last two pirates premieres and other CM only events, so I get you could call those benefits.

And if low salary and long hours are benefits, then you get those too

You get 4 Comp tickerts per year. 2 for sumemr and 2 for winter. you can save them to use in WDW with no block out dates. you also get a sign in card good for 16 times a year with blockout dates.

As for park tickets discounts, they are like $20 off at the company stores.

You get cheaper movie tickets for the AMC in DTD.

You get free movie screenings of new older movies at the AMC in DTD for free.

    Cast combos at the AMC.

You get Cast previews on new attractions.

After 3 three years of service, you get a yearly raise and a service pin after 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, etc..........

After five years of service, you get a special luncheon!

That is all I know for now.

    a long time ago.

disney, walmart and mcdonald's all remind me of each other, on a corporate level; they all kinda cross-contaminate.

For DLR tickets, you can get them at the ticket booth and they will give you the discount. I went with a group a few weeks ago and thought my cm friend was going to have to go to the park team center, and she didn't have to. We went right to a ticket booth and bought the park hoppers. (Though, the cm still has to pay for it, but you can give them the money right there)
    More things:
CM family xmas party, which is soooo much fun!
After 15yrs, you get the silver pass
Company D- CM only store (but friends and family can shop there during certain times of the yr)
