Highly doubtful...a re-engineering of the PeopleMover would require construction walls throughout all of Tomorrowland (can't have stuff falling on guests), which they are not about to do during the 50th.

This seems to me, if anything, to be some initial research in the area to see if a new attraction is even feasible and what the cost would be, and this will likely be followed by months of talks to determine if they will go forward with the project and what the budget shall be.

Not exactly.. their are areas where the PM track is inside buildings.. these areas could be built and by the time the 50th if over they would be ready to work on the outside... (or outside area where people are near..)

delaying construction in some areas..... plus I never said they would start imediately.. from seeing people to begin might be 6 months to a year...

They are just trying to get a budget now maybe... then work around that...

Not true.....think about the subs, and other refurbs that are currently going on. Don't forget monsters inc. And Space mountain has been in refurb up untill yesterday during the 50th. I don't think their would be a problem at all. In fact, I think it could even generate some excitment with all the people who are currently visiting DLR.

Question, will anyone video tape the July 17th ride announcements? They will most likely of course mention nemo, and if there doing the people mover, they'll mention that, and if they do, I want video So is anyone gonna video tape it?

While I'd love to have the PeopleMover back, I think maybe Dark Beer's photos
reveal the guy's pictured true interest:

Dockers Premium Never-Iron™ Cotton Khaki - Flat Front
New Premium 100% cotton khaki, featuring luxurious super-soft fabric, comes straight from the dryer with a dry-cleaned look.
    • Relaxed fit
    • Superior wrinkle resistant performance

    Question

I can picture the WDI/WDI-A staff:

"Hey .. since Space Mountain's soft opening date leaked on to internet sites ... lets get all those AP Holders all excited, as they stand in line .... and lets get on the former Rocket Rods platform .. look pretty, as our pictures will be taken ... then posted on various Disney fan sites ... and they can talk, talk, talk away!!"

Uhmm....I don't think they were touching themselves around the track.
