POTC comparsion of all 4 versions?

I have riden the MK and DL ones and obviously the DL one is much better and much much longer. I have heard really good things about DLP's POTC, but some sites say it lasts only 10 minutes. DLP's version has two drops and sword fighting audio animatronics though. Is it correct that the MK's only last 8 and a half minutes and DL's lasts 14 and a half minutes. I think I heard TDL's lasted 15 minutes, is that true?

For those that have riden all of them, which is the best?
I bet no one will honestly say the MKs.

i have only been on DL's and TDL's. DL's is much better, but TDL's seems to have more turns, which i really like, because it hides the next scene better. TDL's only has one drop, that was disapointing.

I can't vote, having only had the opportunity to enjoy the DL original, but from what I've heard, I doubt WDW will win. I'm told that it's too short and it just lacks the fun of the original. I'd be really interested to ride all versions, I must say...

IMO, DL's is better than WDW's mostly because it's longer. I really love that 6-minutes that WDW's lacks.

I have only been on DLs and WDWs and DL is better, but I do like WDW's queue better. I've heard really good things about the version in PAris though.

I can't vote having only gone on Disneyland's and Florida's. But yah, I like Disneyland's better.

Sorry, went with DLP's. I like DLR's...a lot but that one is flat out amazing.

DLP, no contest. That attraction RULES. And yes, I have ridden all four, several times.

I have to go with Disneyland Paris. This is an amazing attraction. The original version in Anaheim has some great elements, but almost all of the elements that are better than the version in Paris were recently added.

On our last visit to Disneyland Paris, we had the pleasure of riding three times in a row without having to leave the boat. For those who don't know, the order of the scenes is reversed.

Also, for those who are are interested, the Paris version of the Blue Bayou (called the Blue Lagoon) is amazing! Lobster, crab and some great meat selections (all for a lower price than the Anaheim version) make this a great restaurant.

Re: POTC comparsion of all 4 versions?

Having ridden on Pirates at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom/WDW and Disneyland Paris, I'd have to say that Disneyland Paris' version is probably the best. I think that's because it had the added benefit of new technology when it opened.

Disneyland will always be the sentimental favorite; it's the first one I ever rode on and it will always be the original for me.

Magic Kingdom comes in last, at least for me. I think that has to do with the rush to build it after people complained it wasn't there. It's the shortest and the least showiest, and the loss of the cursed treasure scenes really loses something.

The one in Paris is pretty good, my only complaint was that i found it to be less dark than the original, so the ceiling was more visable which sort of ruined the effect in some scenes..

I'd be really interested to ride the DLP version, especially considering how many people prefer it to the original. The Disneyland lover in me abhors the idea of preferring another version, but the theme park lover in me feels like I ought to give other versions a chance...if I ever get a chance to schlep out to Paris.
