    Finding Nemo parade?

Just a really quick thought: What if instead of bringing DAK's Nemo show to DCA's Hyperion, it was a parade for DCA? Disney invited the Dory and Crush performer for Submarine Voyage's opening. Just a quick little thought to put out here.

That might be really good especially if Crush could interact with the youngins along the parade route. It's been a while since a good parade was movie based. ie: Aladdin and Mulan.

Wait -- did I miss something? Is the AK Nemo show scheduled to come to DCA?? I love the Aladdin show and I would sure miss it if it left.

You've got to be kidding me. There is one Nemo ride. That is it. If you should be tired of a repetitive theme in the park, be tired of pirates. Pirates are more of a problem them Nemo.

I also like the Aladdin show, but I think its time for something fresh and new. From what I hear the Nemo show is great.

Perhaps you missed the subject of the topic, which was a Nemo parade? I didn't say anything about the ride.

Please see my icon. I have no problems where pirates are concerned.

Wait, there will be a Nemo show at the Hyperion?? When was this announced?? What will happen to the Aladdin show?? Will Nemo replace Aladdin??

A Nemo parade will be a good idea, but it will beginning to become Pixar Land to me!!

It would be quite cheesy if Disney simply took the set pieces and such from the current Broadway/traveling production of Beauty and the Beast and plopped it into the Hyperion.

While I too am a fan of Aladdin (but only when the Genie is on top of his game, naturally), I could see a Nemo stage show coming in. It might fit nicely and possibly bring more guests into DCA, if not just the HPB area of the park.

No, not Beauty. I already saw this in NYC and I honestly think Aladdin was better. Nemo would be a really fun show. I think it is a smart move if they do change out the shows, this will make people appreciate them more, and keep DCA fresh and fluid.

    Re: Finding Nemo parade?

The Nemo show is good but not great. It feels more like a campy theme park show than a musical. Aladdin at DCA is much better and felt more like a professional production. Plus, alot of the performers in the show don't really care for the puppet aspect...Holding up those puppets after a while really can take it's toll on the body. (Hmmm...Tapestry of Nations anyone?...) I'd rather see Aladding stay or perhaps something along the lines of Tokyo Disney Resort's calibur of stage shows. Speaking of Tokyo, it would be nice if in this new surge of the Disneyland resort they brought up the standards of park entertainment to be on par with Tokyo.

    Re: Finding Nemo parade?

They've posted a casting notice online for Aladdin for performances starting in Dec... it's not going anywhere soon.

Why change something that is currently bringing in huge crowds everyday at a park where money drastically has to be spend elsewhere.

Well said! I prefer parades like Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams that are centered around a variety of characters rather than just one movie.

So would I. Aladdin is, by far, the best thing in DCA.
