The Great DLR Burger Bite-Off, Pt. 2

I was going to add a reply to the original DLR Burger Bite-Off thread, but it's now closed as it's been inactive for some time. So here's a new post where you can behold the magnificence...

...the grandeur

...of a Smokehouse Burger from the ESPN Zone.



This burger was savored as an exquisite dinner while visiting the parks yesterday. Crispy onion strings, white cheddar cheese, three-pepper bacon and chipotle mayonnaise complemented the awesomeness of the burger patty. It was definitely one of the best burgers I have had on Disney property. Priced at $11.99 (plus tax and tip), it was also one of the most expensive burgers I've eaten. But the price includes an extensive choice of side dishes: french fries, house salad, blue cheese apple walnut salad, caesar salad (my pick last night), fresh fruit or a baked potato.

However, I feel that there is still more research to be done! By no means have I tried burgers at all the dining establishments within DLR. It will probably be two or three weeks before I can return to the area and try another burger. But when I do, I'll be sure to come back here and write about it.

I don't have a picture but I had the
Cajun Burger - Grilled with cajun seasoning, red bell peppers, onions, and pepper jack cheese, served on a toasted bun with chipotle mayonnaise. When I was at ESPN Zone at the end of June........so GOOD!!! I rarely eat burgers anymore so this was a treat and it was so.worth.it!

I know I still need to arrange an official burger bite off meet, but I'm thinking it would be better to do after the summer when there's less crowds.

Last time at DL I craved a good hamburger. Looks like this fits the bill even though it is a bit pricey it looks too darn good to pass up.

LOL! Yeah, it's not the best for ye olde arteries, but sweet petunia, it's soooooo good and tasty. It was worth it.

Everything in moderation, right? I'll try not to eat another burger for a couple of weeks. And maybe I'll go to the gym an extra night this week to make up for it. Has anyone tried a burger at Club 33? I'd guess it would be an above average burger.

I still think the best burgers are at Pilot's Grill in DCA. I can pour on a much BBQ sauce as I want. Yummy!

Off property, I'm partial to Fuddruckers on Beach and Orangethorpe.
