Re: Why don't you guys want to Boo Eisner on the 17th?

Here's a practical look at this:

    You're standing ....
you have 4 people surrounding you ...
    one in front
    one behind
    one to your left
    one to your right

    2 of the 4 won't "boo"
2 of the 4 will "boo"

What are you going to do?
Waste your energy and tell those 2 people to stop, or make some remark, and start a problem which now makes the Eisner "booing" thing .. into an all-brawl between you and people in the audience?

If a person decides to "boo" Eisner...
Are you going to challenge that person?

    Do yourselves the favor ...
save your hissing, or shhh/ing ...
and lets get through the "boo" as fast as we can ...
and get on with our day.

But you know what, if Satan was the one preaching, loud farting would be allowed. and ethical

There is a time to laugh,
    and time to cry

a time to cheer the heroes
and a time to boo the villains.

That's what Disney Animated Features teach

You know .. the more I think about this ........ This is going to end up being THE ONE chance many people will be able to let Eisner know how they feel.

I personally would love to hear DEAD SILENCE when he takes the stage. THAT would un-nerve him far greater than any boo fest. But just as our fearless leader of the good "ol USA does, he will surround himself with 'his people' who will cheer him on.

Re: Why don't you guys want to Boo Eisner on the 17th?

Lol, booing is now a matter of ethics? Never heard that before...

What's funny is that the same people complaining about boos are some of the people who curse at Disneyland, wear vulgar shirts, or engage in inappropriate activities with "significant others". But you know... a "Boo" is much worse.

Disrespecting Disneyland? Not really. When you throw trash on the ground, or put gum on the walls, or spit on main street, that's disrespecting Disneyland. So if booing Eisner at Disneyland is disrespectful to Disneyland, I wonder what it thinks of people who talk about other parks!

Re: Why don't you guys want to Boo Eisner on the 17th?

Well, I didn't boo him on the 4th, so I figure why start now???? I'm not going for him. I'm going because I love the man who put the magic in the park that I love. Eisner is merely a blip on the screen and he'll be gone from my memory soon enough.

By the way...I don't even boo at baseball games. I went to a Dodger/Giants game once. While I hate both teams. I didn't boo.....they get enough crap.

I see booing him as a fitting tribute. More meaningful than a wave, and more heartfelt. After that, he can do whatever he pleases.

Won't be there, but when I watch the video at home, I'll boo...

I don't think I'd do it in public. It just...sux. The guy isn't exactly the best person, but I'd still rather be polite.

I just hope he has the decency to come in a suit, and not PJs...
