Still think that Eisner should just recreate his image after he leaves. Like I said, he should just walk around in a mink coat, with bling bling all over his hands with a big pimp hat steeling candy from babies and ripping Warner Bros. plush from little kids hands and tearing off their heads. He could also drive his loader on the parade route fllipping everyone off and yelling "I'm Mikey E. and this is how I roll Baby. Word Eisner Life". Again, he could be Disney's bad boy, would get him alot of publicity.
Okay no booing, got it...
...but...
...How about mooning? Will mooning him be okay?KIDDING! xD *ducks bricks*
Seriously though, after the booing fiasco last time on the 4th, he might not even -show- his ugly mug to the event. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for that.
But...just MAYBE disgruntled silence, and not to mention, a few hundreds of faces on him all with VERY angry, dirty looks, would be enough to jar him into an emotional state of distress.I mean what's more unsettling than dozens of people looking at you silently in disdain and contempt? xD
All I know is, if *I* see him that day...he will be given the 'arm jerk' salute personally by me. Not where -he- can see it, mind you...but I definitely will do it. ^^
Yeah, your post is so mature. NOT!Originally Posted by Disneykat

I would definately boo eisner.
-Eisner's Ego is huge, the man knows no bounds and has no respect for the people who buy Disney and barely tolerates shareholders(cause he has to). He thinks he's on better footing than Walt Disney and hates when anyone else is compared favorably to the founder and he's not.
-As to the opening tenure of Eisner and the first ten years. It's now abundantly clear that a blind and dumb monkey could have pulled Disney out of the slump in '84. It was by no means rocket science and they had the money and power to start fresh, they just needed ANY kind of motivating force. Eisner was not a good choice, the man has some serious control issues and is an accomplished backstabber.
-Booing, yes, it's rude.
-Booing's effectiveness: It's really pointless to boo at the ceremonies. I was there on the 5th in a prime spot near the front. None of the people there booed that I could hear. If the booing was occurring at the sides and back of the Plaza, there was no way Eisner could hear it while making his speech.
-Booing is really being suggested here as a form of protesting. It's an extremely ineffective form in a forum where the target will not hear and does not care. You want to protest? Hit him where it hurts. He comes out, play Pomp and Circumstance like another board member suggested. Read juicy passages from DisneyWar outloud revealing just how awful Eisner is. Talk with other audience members about the upcoming suit on August 10th. Most people won't get a lot of it, but maybe some of it will trickle to Eisner, and that's what can illustrate your feelings.
Booing him is just wrong.
Yes, I do think it was incredibly rude and immature of them.Originally Posted by DL_CRAZE

But I'm also free to express my opinion of their opinion by telling them they're idiots if the booing people happen to be within earshot of me.
