Wow. Now we're talking about breakfast! (Yay for hash browns!!) Anything's better than senseless bickering, anyway. Hooray for Circarama!!!

[QUOTE=Disney Wrassler]I think Eisner needs to get booed because he has to know that we are dis-satisfied with him and no one else.QUOTE]

There are better ways to show someone that you don't approve of what they are doing. Booing is completely rude, and.. I don't really want to argue about this. People have different opinions, and that is that.

All I'll say is.. if you want respect.. you need to give respect.

Okay, here's a tough question for some of you. If you guys had a choice of either booing or throwing your cupcake at Eisner, what would you do?

Re: Why don't you guys want to Boo Eisner on the 17th?

As much as I think booing tends to only make the booer look bad, there are times when making a statement is important. Silence would be the best and most effective thing to do, but the occasional Boo can let people worldwide know that people don't like something and may make some people look up the reasons online. Signs are great, but I doubt you could get them into DL. Maybe a tightly folded posterboard in the backpack! No matter what, people will do whatever they deem necessary to express their opinions. Just remember, this is DL birthday and we don't want the boos to ever be taken out of context. If a "no or little" clap rule could be institued, that would be best. Silence when speaking is a deadly feeling, boos make people like Eisner more determined and can undermind the purpose.

Tho I dislike Eisner for the way he ran somethings in recent years, I still have to give him props for saving Disney back when he did. He was instrumental in bringing Disney (not just the parks) back from the land of the dead. Even tho he thought he was Walt incarnate. That was so annoying!

Tsch...given the choices... I'd boo. Come on, do you think I'd be mad enough to throw a perfectly good cupcake at an evil despot? Hey, I may be insane, but I'm not stupid!

Let's face it, If I'm gonna be chucking cupcakes at the forces of evil, dadgummit, they'd better be cupcakes laced with bugs, a skin irritant, or...I dunno...some kind of crazy knockout inducing frosting!

...OR at least be a good ten years past their expiration date. They make WAY better chuckin' fodder that way!

The shareholders told him what they thought of him 2 years ago- their votes rang much louder and were much more effective than all the boos you can muster
As for me, I could care less what Eisner thinks. However, the booing, in my opinion, is disrespectful to those around you. I see it no differently than putting kids up on shoulders to see.

Re: Why don't you guys want to Boo Eisner on the 17th?

I would if I were there, but it's obvious that I wouldn't be able to make it for the exact 50th anniversary, to be honest, I haven't been to Disneyland in almost six years (I hope to go next july- 2006- but that's only if I can talk my friends into going with me) and I wish I could be there on the exact 50th anniversary but it's too close to book a trip now. But if I were there I would boo Michael. I hate Eisner so much!!

I think a crowd full of SaveDisney.com shirts just standing there, in silent protest, would be awesome...

    Hmmmm...

Now I'll have to go with Plan B:

Cut eyeholes in large white sheet. Dress as ghost. Boo loudly to fit in with theme.
