Nope it's been like that since it opened, or a very long time.

    About the busts?
I got into an argument... (the one who thinks she rights even if she's wrong) about Madam Leota, she swears she has always floated.

But i showed her evidence and she just, "no your wrong."

Just because refurbs have happened in the year leading up to the anniversary (pretty-ing up the place, if you will) and consequent 'clean up' of the anniversary paraphenalia, does not provide conclusive evidence that Disney is now changing 50 years of procedure, and starting extended yearly closures of all attractions.
As to HMH, I do believe it stays around for too long; its 'run' should be curtailed.

yeah I remember being there, but more confused, even a CM didn't know. Its like one of those "Has 'Yo Ho' lyrics always been in the first drop or not" confusions

It was changed for a little while with instrumental Yo Ho only. It's back to original form now.

As long as I can remember, yes.
I dunno, about the arguments thing...my friend--who is 19 and has been to Disneyland twice in the past ten years, both times being with me and in the last year or so--argued that IASW was 15 minutes long...no, it's nine minutes if there isn't a boat jam, and yes it's the longest ride in the resort but it's not as long as he thought. He sat there and said he was right for about 20 minutes in line for ToT late one night, and I had a bad headache. So I finally yelled that I was right and how could he possibly know if he's only gone again recently and that he wouldn't have had time to research anything since he's always on World of Warcraft and that he should stop arguing with someone who has spent her whole life researching Disneyland stuff. But, like I said, I had a headache and it was late.
    .../rant.

I'll just add that it's been exactly the way it is now since the day the HM opened. You can see the knocked-over bust on early blueprints.

    To keep the marriage happy,
With joy in the loving cup,
    Whenever you're wrong, admit it.
    Whenever you're right, shut up.

And uh, maybe try the coffee in the green can for awhile...

I think those were removed during a HMH (when they put the pumpkins, or was it skulls on a stake, er somthing like that.) and never put back up.

BTW I miss having a real graveyard and not just a pet Cemetary, it used to be graveyard, crypts and the pet cemetary.
