DL's 4th Fireworks, Voted one of best in Country.

I read this on MSN this morning

It's in the middle collum below the picture.
    http://local.msn.com/special/4thjuly.asp?GT1=6660

Disneyland's 4th of July fireworks is 3rd down on the list.

Are they actually having a 4th of july fireworks show? Or are they just showing remember dreams come true, and calling that good?

I read in the OC Register they are adding a patriotic 6-minute finale to the Remember show.

Wow, I'm really impressed that Disneyland made the national firework list! I would say they deserve it- the only place for me to see fireworks is in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Yeah, I thought it was pretty ool that Disneyland made it on the national fireworks list. I've seen Disneyworld's fireworkshow on TV before, but never Disneylands. Maybe Disneyland's will be on TV this year? who knows.

    Disneyland Press Release

Disneyland in Anaheim will celebrate American independence on July 4th with an extended Independence Day fireworks show: "A Salute to America's Golden Dreams." The show will begin at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Monday, July 4. The Disneyland 50th Anniversary "Happiest Celebration on Earth" continues daily throughout the summer with the most elaborate pyrotechnics in Disneyland history, combined with breakthrough environmentally-friendly air launch technology and a new flight for Tinker Bell.

Well...I saw the MK's fireworks last night (which was a dress rehearsal for today's performance I guess) and I have to say that the MK did put up a great show. The WOW! factor was kept alive with the addition of the longest perimeter firework display I have ever seen at WDW. It was grand. I have never done the 4th at DL but am wondering if DL does their 4th of July fireworks just as big as the MK's.

I would love it if both DL and WDW compete for the best fireworks display in the world! Then both parks would win!!!

I know that both parks put on additions to their shows for the fourth. I cannot compare the additions, but I was Wishes in December and Remember Dreams Come True in June. I think RDCT was better because of the extras like fire blasting and pinwheels.

Who knows how they compare when you add the addition Fourth of July Coda?

I will once again be going to the LA Galaxy game, which has some of the BEST fireworks you will ever see...

I also will be going to the KGB Sky SHow in September at Qualcomm Stadium, after the Aztecs Football game.

I have found that both these shows are much larger and have a LOT of WOW factor...

I've only seen Epcot's 4th show in '99 and it was amazing. I haven't dared disneyland on that day(in fact i was at epcot on that trip because i literally couldn't move over at magic kingdom that day it was so packed).

I'm hoping for visionsfantastic to have a video of tonight's show sometime soon so I can see it. Interested to see what effects they use.

I really can't get into the fireworks shows they do around here. It's really bad compared to Disneyland and the music ooh the horrid music

Disneyland's show is great...the only drawback is the crowds

the finale to the patriotic segment (set to the 5 armed forces marches) put the whole "Remember... Dreams Come True" show to shame. Thats all I have to say.

Argh, I love the idea of setting patriotic fireworks to the armed forces themes, but ever since my grandpa died, I can't listen to Anchors Aweigh without pulling a total and utter breakdown. It would totally ruin the whole night for me. I'd still be interested in seeing it. RU42, you out there?
