Hey, there had to be something to use up those "B" tickets. But that was back in the day. Nowadays it seems like every ride has to be E-ticket.

Wow, Melmel, go easy!! It was like Autopia for kids...fun in a slow, nice way! Does everything need to be an "E" ticket? NO!

Surrounding the exterior back area of the Autopia was a ride with small personally controlled motorboats- think Autopia meets Bumber boats.

Motor Boat Cruise ran from 1957 until January of 1993, when it was axed to help budget Toontown.

gotcha, so do you think that when they redo the subs that they will just extend into the old motor boat area for more space and versatility

I don't think it will be restored, it could become something new or the rumor for a while was some sort of queue area for the new submarines.

nah...the queue for the subs will remain where it is, though the entire place will be completely rebuilt once the monorail line closes next year to build a new station for it (to accompany the new monorail trains). The former MBC's site has been earmarked for a future expansion.

How's that? Where did you get that information? Last I read they were sending one of the current monorail cars off to be reverse engineered so they could continue to use exsisting track for years to come.

This would come from our very own Al Lutz...they are ripping the current train apart to learn how to build it better next time...that train will not be fixable after they are done w/ it, so they will build a brand new fleet and a brand new station for a brand new Tomorrowland.

Actually, the ones at Legoland have ALOT more control than the MotorBoat Cruise. You couldn't turn the MBC at all.

Yes we must have read the same report and taken away very different impressions because it sounded like a new station but same track and just a modern version of the same type of trains.
