I agree Davewasbaloo, DLP's fireworks are nice but ultimately just aren't spectacular. The only spectacular moment is probably at the very end with the mas of wishing stars but that's not really enough. A little off topic I'm sorry, but did anyone see Fiestaventura at Portaventura? Now that was a nighttime spectacular
Still, I'd rather see Disney Paris. Though a resort on the Spanish coast of the Mediterranean sounds very attractive
Port Adventura is pretty cool. It feels more like a Busch Park than anything (they were stakeholders in building it) mixed with some Universal touches (who owned it for a while). Probably my 2nd fav theme resort in Europe after DLP. Not worth travelling half way across the world for, but certainly nice if you are within 800 miles of it.
I think Disney does an amazing job on all their firework displays.
But my personal favorite is... Remember...Dreams Come True! sponsored by Honda
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Getting back to the thread, isn't Remember the longest firework display show Disney has ever done?
That would be Fantasy in the Sky at WDW. It ran for 32 years with some modifications before being replaced by Wishes.
It looks like DL is getting the upperhand here. I have to say that the special shows at WDW are absolutely spectacular. PoE, 4th of July, and NYE shows in addition to RoE are amazing, and loud. HalloWishes, Holiday Wishes, 4th of July, New Years, and Magic, Music and Mayhem, being my favorite of the MK are spectacular as well. I love how MMM uses 2 of the perimeter locations to tell the story.
