let people do what they want calm down yeah its a nice movie but i wanted to run out halfway through

A little off topic, but since the majority of people seem to fear Golden Dreams, how is Golden Screams? A better question is "what does it entail?"

I don't mind Golden Dreams. It's certainly nothing that I'd see again and again. I've seen it all of 2 times since I've been going to the parks. And I don't mind Whoopi at all.

Of course, I certainly wouldn't mind if they put some other movie in there either.

Well yeah, I am all for it being moved and them tearing it down after all. I am just against people who say that they will never see the show because it sucks, even after they have never seen the show in the first place. They should never pass judgment on something they've never seen.

I've seen the show and it does suck! Everybody I know thinks it sucks.

They should have gone with the AA filled American Adventure version of the show,.You know DCA could have been so much better without all those buget cuts.

it is a corny bad show.... bad because it is so corny I mean good lord I felt like I was going to puke at the corn being thrown at me.... it would be good for a middle school class to see other then that meh. Nice ac though!

But I saw Golden Dreams for the first time last year, and maybe because I was expecting the worst, didn't think it was as bad as I had feared. Keep your expectations low, low low, and you can never be disappointed.

Maybe that's why Disney keeps building such low quality attractions.

And for the record, I did think the film was enlightening and moving. However, not done to its full potential. And the Whoopie statues freaked me out, but not as much as my friend. I've never had someone clench my hand in fear as hard as she did.

No. People don't have low expectations when they enter a Disney theme park, that's why DCA has failed - people expected something worthy of being across the way from Disneyland, and when they found DCA and attractions like Golden Dreams they stopped coming.

The reason Disney builds low quality parks and attractions isn't because people expect low quality... its because of bad management who doesn't learn from its mistakes who thinks they can fool an unsuspecting consumer base. It's happened time and again - Tomorrowland '98, Winnie the Pooh, DCA, Walt Disney Studios Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Unfortunately, people within the company just don't realize that the fans know when Disney dumps crap instead of gold in the park. But we all know that Golden Dreams isn't very golden at all.
