    WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!

Tahitian Terrace and PeopleMover are coming BACK?

I go to Mice Age, Mouse Planet, and Mice Chat every day, and the Disneyland official websites... and I didn't know this?

LOL! Awesome! Thank you for telling me that. (Well, I sorta knew PeopleMover might come back, but I thought that was just a rumor)
I am a rabid Disney fan. Possible future Imagineer (already designing rides for it)... I've only been to Disneyland. I'm hoping to go to Disney World this summer for the first time, and TDR might be possible in 3 years.

Country Bear Jamboree, so I can see my sister freaked by the bears again, and the Skyway, so there could be more movement in Tomorrowland!

Re: If you could bring something back to Disneyland...

There are many Yesterland attractions I never experienced that I certainly wish I'd gotten a chance to, but the only thing I can think of that I personally experienced and now want back is...the Rocket Rods. I know, I know. I'm prepared to accept the consequences of this horrible suggestion. But I'm a bit sentimental about the Rocket Rods for reasons that are only somewhat related to the quality of the ride. If this attraction were to return with proper funding, more reliability, and a general increase in the amount of theming, it could be very cool. A lot of you will protest to this idea, saying that it'd be far better to bring back the Peoplemover. I honestly can't evaluate that idea, since I never saw the Peoplemover in person. I do believe, however, that so slow a ride wouldn't be well tolerated by today's audiences.

In any case, my wonderful memories of a trip in January of 2000 will never allow me to let go of the Rocket Rods. Despite their failings, they did have potential, and I miss them.

I never did get the opportunity to ride the Rocket Rods. During the limited time they were open I was never able to get to Disneyland. I would have liked to, but I must confess I think they should bring the people mover back instead. It is a slow ride, but it still runs in MK at WDW so why not bring it back to Disneyland?

Because the parks aren't intended to be clones. If anything, the presence of an attraction at one park should be a reason not to install it somewhere else, as well. Having different rides at different parks encourages guests to visit multiple parks, not just one that offers all the favorites.

Perhaps it'd be best to split the difference between the Peoplemover/TTA and the Rocket Rods. A well-themed, non-movie-related, medium-speed attraction on the existing tracks could be quite successful. As long as sufficient funds are made available, it should be possible. The benefits would be enormous, as discussed elsewhere ad nauseum--increased visual energy in Tomorrowland, a way to guzzle more people away from Space Mountain and the subs, etc.

Re: If you could bring something back to Disneyland...

Hmmm difficult one as I miss so many losses:

    Walt Disney
    MSEP
    Gt Moments with Mr Lincoln
    Tahitian Terrace
    County Bear Jamboree
    Burning Cabin
Big Thunder and the Twin Sisters
    Golden Horseshoe Revue
    Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland
    Merlin's Magic Shop
    The People Mover
    Carousel of Progress/America Sings
    America the Beautiful
Unique shopping experiences and craftspeople (candle maker, wood carver, perfumerie etc.)

For me I think I miss the Tahitian Terrace the most (and the wonderful AA shows that have been ripped out).

I also wish I didn't live in fear of WDI ruining the park or adding more characters and instead could live in wonder and anticipation when something is added.

At DCA I miss - WWTBAMPI, Soup Opera Bistro, Eureka, Three Bags Full, Devine, Blast, Luminaria, Rocking the Bay - the most missed thing there is WWTBAMPI.

At WDW - I wish they would bring back 20K Under the Sea, Horizons, and World of Motion.

At DLP I wish they would bring back MSEP, the Dapper Dans, Le Visionarium and Space Mountain de la Terre au la Lune.

But most of all, I wish Disney would bring back the will to take a risk and deliver amazing AA laden attractions the whole family can enjoy that do not rely on animated features/princesses/pirates. Disney parks have really been dumbed down over the last 15 years.
Let's put the Walt back in Disney!

If you want to get technical the people mover actually existed at Disneyland prior to it being put into Magic Kingdom. So they would not be installing anything, just re-opening a ride that already existed. To be honest I always liked the Disneyland version of it better than the MK one anyway.

You are preaching to the choir about appreciating the differences between the Disney parks. The different rides and shows at the parks is what makes them unique. I love all the Disney parks for different reasons, but do you think that having Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, DLP, TDL and HKDL having completely different rides and themes at every park would be a good thing? Why do you think they built them with the same layout as Disneyland? Because you stick with what works, and as far as I can tell Disneyland worked.
Sorry to go so far off topic, just my two cents.
