Re: If you could bring something back to Disneyland...

For me I would like to see Mr. Lincoln back more than anything mainly because it was one thing we would never miss at DL, no matter what, we always went to see him.

After that, the things I miss the most are Sleeping Beauty Walk Thru and Inner Space.

    A little piece of heaven

Re: If you could bring something back to Disneyland...

Thankfully, Sleeping Beauty walkthru is coming back 2008 (according to Al), and I guess the PeopleMover is in 2009?

But rides that COULD possibly come back (because there's still place available) are:

    - Tahitian Terrace would have to take over Aladdin's Oasis

    - Swiss Family Treehouse would have to take over Tarzan

    - Nature's Wonderland would have to take over Big Thunder Trail, Ranch, and Festival of Fools, or Big Thunder Mountain

    - ATIS would have to take over Star Tours, or Starcade

The most awesome things that I've seen personally that I want back (submarines are already back) is the PeopleMover and Country Bears.

The most awesome things that I never got a chance to see that I want back are Adventure thru Inner Space, Nature's Wonderland, Tahitian Terrace, Skyway, and the Indian Village.

... we should beg Disney to bring these back.
I am a rabid Disney fan. Possible future Imagineer (already designing rides for it)... I've only been to Disneyland. I'm hoping to go to Disney World this summer for the first time, and TDR might be possible in 3 years.

Since they're the only things I remember from my loooooong ago brief visit to Disneyland, I vote for Inner Space and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. It would have been fun to revisit them on the October trip. I look forward to seeing everything when I get there.

    Inner Space.
    Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

I I miss all of the Goodies (from MerlinJones' post above), but I think that I miss the WEDway PeopleMover the most of all; it has left such a void in Tomorrowland with the skeleton of the empty overhead tracks bleaching in the sun... It was a great "First Ride in Tomorrowland!" - espicially for First Time Guests - to be able to see / take a tour of the entire Land and plan on what to go on next...

All you missed was the 2hr wait... and possibly 5 minutes of whish whish thank God it's over... It was like a drag race in a go-cart... interesting concept but horrible ride!

You know, I hadn't hought about it much, but yeah there is plenty of room for Nature's Wonderland even without the Big Thunder area. Wouldn't it be cool to do an homage to Mother Nature, the True-Life Adventures and the world of wildlife rather than some commercial tie-in? What new, thrilling effects could they use to put you right inside nature - right up with the animals? What kind of vehicle would you use?

Well, whether a ride is good or not I still like to be able to say that I went on it. That way when I post in a thread like this I can say "Oh yeah I remember that ride! It was totally lame-o!" Right along with everyone else

Mine trains were what they originally used, right? Maybe it could bring the feeling that we're actually in a national living desert, and watching all these unique animals!! With, of course, the finale through Rainbow Caverns with updated technology.

I wish they could use up the Festival of Fools and Big Thunder Ranch to create this. They even rebuilt that old Nature's Wonderland cave, right? Does that mean it MIGHT (emphasize on might) come back???

Oh yeah, and... BRING BACK THE VILLAINS SHOP!!

There's lots of things we miss about Disneyland. *sighs*
