Who said there isn't, MousePlanet did get that wrong.

The only info that was released was the info that Travel Agents need to arrange their packages and print their brouchers.

Single Day tickets, Annual Pass, and SoCal discounts were NOT part of the information released.

There is a very good chance of the return of the "Pay for Disneyland, get DCA for FREE!" tickets. The SoCal special will be announced in early January.

Also, the Two Days Free offers are NOT available at the Main Gate, and are only available at the Advance Purchase price.

Last year, Single Day tickets and AP went up in price mid-September.

All I wished that Disney had was a "kid's" type Annual Pass with no blockout dates. I am getting my son a pass soon but certainly won't be buying him the PAP because what does he need 15% off and free parking for? So I have to get him the Deluxe which blockouts some Saturdays and the major holidays. Which is fine, just have to remember which days now because Saturdays are the only days I really go.

w/e ...not a big deal to me. I just hate that promotion. Although last year was not as bad. I don't really care who posts what first and who gets what right or wrong. There's more important things to concern myself with.

Re: DL prices going up January 3, 2008

Why is it the norm to raise the prices by an even $5 or $10? I mean, couldn't they baby step us with a $2 and $4 increment? I mean, it's not like they are losing money on the parks.

I realize that when you are already prepared to spend a lot of money on tickets, this isn't going to break the bank. But that could be said everytime they jack up the prices.

I dunno... it just seems like a lot at once. It's not like tickets are going to get cheaper and you would like to hope that these new prices would stay steady for awhile... but I doubt it.

Well, the multi-Day tickets will be good until the first few days of 2009, so you have been getting a full stable year before a price increase.

    Thanks for posting!

At this rate, we couldn't afford to go to the park for just ONE trip per year... hehe

Just solidifies the fact that AP's are a great value.

    Thank goodness for AP's!

My guess, next month (based on last year).

What does the Walt Disney Company have against working class families?
That fact is a little unfair to Disney because the company's pricing policy back then was completely irrational.

But allowing some guests in at potentially $1.00 per day now is rational?

Not only is the inflation factored in, but employee, er, cast member wages, park maintainence and other factors like the costs of energy have played a part in the higher ticket prices, plus before 1982, you had to buy tickets for rides, hence the "E-tickets" and so on.

Am I making any sense whatsoever here?

Darkbeer, do you have any information on the Character Dining price increase? From what I initially saw, PCH Grills was staying the same while the other locations were going up a couple bucks and Goofy's Kitchen was given the largest price jump. I think these are going into effect before November. There was a sign posted about this that has since been removed from my location, so I can't confirm more exact details.

They have less disposable income for one thing.
