DISNEY GALLERY STAYS!!!...for one more week

Well, tonight I got back from my two day trip to DLR with my bro and friend, and my first time as an AP holder(pretty rare for someone who lives in Phoenix).

Me and my brother spent a long time at the Gallery as it would be our last time...ever...
It's still sad to think about it leaving us. Me and my brother have befriended many cast members and other people there which really got me into the side of Disneyland BEYOND the Attractions.

Alas, the CMs there said that it would be staying open for one more week (not really sure why).

It closes on the 7th. I would like them to keep it open until the last week of August, so all teh Apers could have a chance to see it.

I was there last week myself and went on Thursday for the last time. I must have taken 50 photos in there of all of the art and the balcony and the courtyard area. I am SO going to miss the Disney Gallery.

Im gonna hit that first on saturday. Then a final tearful goodbye. The place is beautiful and the arts are really nice.

Sickening....I just hate that. The employees I spoke with were so sad. They said they didn't know what would become of the little touches in the Gallery like the urns on the fireplace mantle. So sad! They all seemed to have other jobs in the park to go to. One said she does other jobs already, so, it was not a huge deal. They all said, "Take as many photos as you can, because we're closing in a week." Made me feel like crying when I left there.

I've seen these for YEARS on the mantle in Disney Gallery. And, did you all know this is the 20th anniversary year of the Disney Gallery? I bought a poster from the 15th anniversary and need to have it framed. It has all of the mini ride posters on it. They didn't have a specific 20th one, except one of Mickey in the gallery with those yellow vase/urn things on the mantle! I may call DelivEARS and order it. I wish I'd bought it now.

A lot of us zonies have AP's. We even have our own club here on MiceChat and if you look in the lounge section you can see a rollcall of all of us. We went last weekend on an 18 hour trip to say our goodbye's to the gallery.

The CM's I spoke with last week didn't seem certain of anything regarding the stuff from the gallery.
