I just got home a couple of hours ago. We left Anaheim around noon. Going to the gas station was a real pain. We used the Chevron on the corner of Anaheim Blvd and Katella. A single row of pumps is what they have room for. The car I pulled up behind is another Impala driven by an older man who couldn't figure out to work the pump. It's not that complicated. It's a gas pump. All he had to do was pump gas, not land astronauts on Mars! And so I move to another pump. It was a family in a van from Bakersfield. Oh, my gosh! These people don't know how to be efficient. We wait, and wait, and wait until the dad comes out with a bag of stuff from the convenience store, and now he's finally pumping the gas! He took so long and is hopelessly inefficient. Someone else could have pumped the gas and clean the windows. He appears to be a real tightwad since he was shaking the pump endlessly (and shaking his van) to get out every last drop-and then he goes back inside to probably get refunded for what he didn't pump!
Yesterday was our last day at the park. We spent it at Disneyland. The park was VERY busy. We never went on Nemo this time since no one wanted to wait in line but me (and the line looked very manageable at night). My sister really wanted to see Tinkerbell fly when we were going on the Matterhorn. The cast member was nice enough to let her out of our bobsled at the last second and watch Tink from the loading station, and then putting her on the next bobsled after that.
We took my little niece Victoria on it's a small world and she loved it! The dolls had her attention. She loved that and the Electrical Parade on Tuesday night. It seemed like she only wanted to be with her grandpa.
Yesterday's lunch was at Rancho del Zocalo. We were suprised at how much food you got for the price. I was the only one who got the Monterrey Soft Tacos. I got the beef version and it was pretty good. I also got a piece of the layered chocolate cake for dessert (I gave some to my mom and sister) and it was really good! We had a perfect view of Thunder Mountain. BTW, Thunder Mountain broke down! It didn't take long for them to get it back up though. If fact, Space Mountain broke down a couple of times while we were there. It broke when I attempted to get fastpasses the first day. It broke when our fastpasses became valid yesterday. And now Thunder Mountain brakes down! Well, it's bound to happen.
My brother was chosen for Jedi Training Academy! I liked the show. The Jedi Master was good at adlibbing as he chose the kids and showed them their moves. Darth Maul seemed to love his job! Funny thing during the show happenend. The stormtroopers, seeing their Sith Lords defeated, retreat and go running up the ramp. We hear this ドタッ/dota-- (or thud). One of the stormtroopers tripped and fell! He was lucky. Tuesday night, there was an incident on Main St. Whatever happened, CMs were diverting people around one section of the sidewalk where someone was laying on the ground and getting treatment.
I will post some more of my pics tomorrow and get started on a slideshow for everyone.
