Is Haunted Mansion Buggy #55 really HAUNTED??

Ok, so on sunday I spoke to a few chatters about buggy # 55 being haunted and it kinda freaked me out just a bit. So can anyone share some more insight on this? Where it originated. What have you experienced? Is it all just a big joke on me?

Tell me!!!

Isn't #55 the one they use for people who need assistance getting in and out?

I know of "tapping" or "knocking" occuring in the doombuggies. I don't know this to be isolated to one particular buggy though. Of course, tapping isn't even supernatural... :P

However, on another note:
There is no way that only one ride-vehichle could be affected by a supernatural presence. In my various readings and studies on ghosts, I have never known of a ghost to haunt something that moves and circulates in a warehouse. Ghosts generally haunt specific rooms of buildings or one particular place. I can't imagine an actual ghost being like a hitch-hiking ghost. It just has never been recorded, to my knowledge.

Haha were you there for the ghost hunting trips Sunday or what?? The first time we got some wicked personal experiences with 55, extending back at least three buggies!!! I was in 57 and I felt activity coming from in front of us, especially on the balcony above the ballroom. I have no doubts about it being haunted and I will be avoiding buggy 55 like one of my ex boyfriends.

I have no idea. What was interesting to me is that they did not do that each time, but there was a couple times they had my family and I wait for a specific doombuggy.

PS sorry for getting off topic everyone.

From what I've heard, it's the buggie that the family dumped their child's ashes into the attraction. I've been in it once and got extremely sick, so yes I would say it is. He's (the child) known to frequent that one and the ones around it. He likes to have fun so he isn't a bad kid.

The way that I had always heard that legend was that his mother spread his ashes amongst the fake dust inside the Mansion. From what I recall, I never heard of the doombuggy being the "tomb". I had always heard he haunted the mausoleum in which guests exit to the "living world".
