    This is getting weird.

How about Rat-dam Kennedy (Adam Kennedy)... oh wait. He was my favorite player on the team too!

    Re: Baseball tie-ins

    On topic:
What happened with Disney and the Angels? I remember "Angels in the Outfield" came out, it wasn't filmed at Angels stadium that I know of, but between the Angels and the Ducks in a very short period of time Disney owned 2 sports teams and suddenly not so much. When "Angels in the Outfield" came out I was like....13? 12? When the movie came out (wow I thought I was younger than that), didn't pay much attention to the news, but had a big crush on the boy that played Roger... so I didn't know anything. And when Disney owned those teams did they do cool promotions?

    Off topic:
3k awesome! Since petsitting I've racked up like 50 posts in 3 days. I can't leave the house because Pearl can't be left alone. Kinda' sucks. Can't get grocceries.

Heck, the Coloseum (where the A's play) doubled as Anaheim Stadium! Not to be mean, A's fans, but that is the ugliest baseball stadium of all of them in California...

The Rams did all they could to make Anaheim Stadium the ugliest. Damn Georgia Frontierie! Once she breathes her last breath I may be able to root for the Rams again.

Back on topic, I thought maybe in Frisco and Oakland (?) a weekend getaway for four could be given away.

Some of Angels in the Outfield, and all of Naked Gun, had the "home" Angels playing at Dodger Stadium!

    Uggghhhhh!

I was watching "Angels in the Outfield" as a kid thinking "Anaheim is gross..." turns out it was Oakland.

AT&T Park is a great venue, and I would think both NorCal franchises could benefit with Disney promotions. I do think, however, they will be met with far more derision at the Coliseum (McAfee Coliseum). We had our best heckling moments back when the Angels were Disney-owned...sigh...the good ol' days.Old habits are hard to break; heckling Disney at the Coliseum was practically an event unto itself.
