You honor me, thank you so much...glad people enjoy my works, I will have to scrounge other themes together from the archives and such. And yes, the park has whole areas I don't care for at all...but detail level in most places is still amazing.

Beautiful work darkfairycthulu!!! I love and visit DCA quite often and even had a hard time recognizing where all your pictures are from. The details are amazing, especially if you take the time to look. Thanks for sharing all of these with us on MiceChat!

Re: California Adventure Details - Photography

Really cool pictures. I am fond of DCA and don't hold much of a grudge against it. I know it has problems and those are finally being addressed and it will be interesting to see what Lassiter and crew come up with.

First question is where is that silly looking sea serpent peering over something. I don't think I have noticed that one before. Well actually there is only one question the other is a statement.

If you walk around the back trail of Grizzly Peak you will find some wonderful details back in there. Old mine shafts that have been closed up, but they really do look real with big wooden doors and lots of "stuff" around them. Just some really nice stuff back in there, and a great waterfall as well. Plus a photo spot to get some great splashy shots of the rafts plunging down, and then some great places to get nice closeups of the geysers.

You do have a talent for composition and you have a really great eye. Keep up the fine work. DCA or Disneyland, they are both full of hidden detail that most time people just don't pay any attention to in the rush to get to the next ride.

Thank you for the kind words indeed, greatly appreciated...I shall have to head over and spend more time in the wilderness area next trip, see what I find. The sea serpant type thing last time I saw it was up in the area around the stage in the Hollywood Pictures backlot, behind one of the construction/shooting type wooden frames where they had just a bunch of stuff piled up, not sure if it's still there though. Indeed, it is a shame so much of this stuff goes unnoticed due to people focusing on the rides and running around and all...but then, also, that does leave a lot of layers of detail to discover over time too.
