Mountain climbers climb no more? Gallery goodbyes? Sad month of August?

Well its been a tough couple months for those fans of the "atmosphere" aspect of Disneyland Park.
While we were graced with a nice new "E" ticket, or a re-release of a classic sub, refreshed for the modern era. We seemed to have lost some very nice atmospheric show elements, the Mountain Climbers and the Disney Gallery. While I can understand that the mountain climbers perhaps should be a "Seasonal" enhancement to the park, I wonder if that is the plan. It sure does add to the magic of the place seeing real mountain climbers scale the mountain! As for the Gallery, I can understand that one of the primmest pieces of real estate at the park probably would be better suited for the "high rollers" of club 33, I am still sad to see it go. Heres to hoping Mr. Baxter will not forget about the little things in in Disneyland that really enhance a guests experience in the park.

I'm not a religious man in NO way but,

    amen!

Everything's looking up for the park! I just pray that in the process they don't forget why it's even there. You the child and child at heart!

About the gallery. We do need to give things up for those with money, I mean, Club 33.

Since I'll never get the chance to go in there, I don't like it.

I'd like the magic to come back.

Was there an official statement about the climbers?

Sorry if it's old news, I hadn't heard.

I thought the Gallery was going to be a suite for the YOAMD. Is Club 33 taking it over instead?

Nobody knows for sure yet, but either way the "average" guest will not be able to enjoy the spot any longer.

It is being made into a suite. It may be used ofr YOAMD winners and maybe accessed by some CLub 33 members. Who knows but all I know its being turned into a suite, living quarters.

Well the current plan is to become a prize winners suite, but after spending a good amount of time in there I can tell you that I would put my money down that club 33 will most probably end up taking over a significant amount of that space especially the outdoor patio! What a great reception area for a high end members only club. Just my opinion but I do believe it makes the most sense.

It might make sense, but I'm one of those people on MC that don't have connections to the "club". Also, I guess I'm one of the few people that know about the "club" that want to go, just to be close to Walt. I'm doubtful the gallery would come back. After spending so much money turning the gallery into a suite, it should be easy to use part of the suite for Club 33. It just makes sense to me to do that.
