    'Round the Disney world.....

My best bud and I are planning on doing a 'round the world tour to all the disney parks. Granted we're planning to do it in just 30 days, sometime in late '08 or early '09, but we've got to plan ahead so we can figure out how much to save.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and had any suggestions or tips?

I wanna do something like this, too! (Except in summer 2008)

I'm not sure which parks you're going to do in order, but I was thinking:

    1. Disneyland Resort
    2. Walt Disney World Resort
    3. Hong Kong Disneyland
    4. Disneyland Paris Resort
    5. Tokyo Disney Resort

    Wellllll as for tips...

Disneyland: Buy a 3-day park hopper and see both parks in 3 days

Disney World: Get an AP if you're staying for 2 weeks

Tokyo Disney: Use trains, not buses, to get to the resort... and spend 10 days at least

I've only been to Disneyland CA, that's why I'm doing my trip. That's about all the advice I could think of (because I'm planning for something like that)
I am a rabid Disney fan. Possible future Imagineer (already designing rides for it)... I've only been to Disneyland. I'm hoping to go to Disney World this summer for the first time, and TDR might be possible in 3 years.

    First DL trip - 1997

    First WDW trip - N/A

I'm going to start with WDW, then, DPR, HKD, TDL and finally the original :-)

Doing my research, TDL is so freaking expensive to stay at, even staying off property!

That sounds like so much fun. I would love to do that but it won't happen for me any time soon. Can't afford to take the whole family.
Check out my new Disney Blog here. What it lacks in quality it makes up with... Well, nothing I guess.

Wow thats gonna cost a lot, but I bet it's worth it. I'd make Disneyland in Anaheim my last stop though.

Right now, we've gotten down to costing about 7,000 a person, starting here in phoenix working our way east around the globe with the end at Disneyland in a total of 30 days :-) The price is actually a lot less than we expected!

You absolute b!^ch! lol That's what I wana do!

There's good deal to be had on "round the world" type deals with some of the bigger international airlines. British Airways used to have a very attractive ticketing system like that.

$7000 sounds about right for flights, hotels and entry... don't forget the spending munnies

Good luck and have a great time, try not to rush yourselves too much.

$7,000 a person - that almost seems too low.

Why in the world would you pull that order? Start in California, fly east for WDW. After WDW, its fly all the way west for HKDL. After that, fly to basically the other side of the globe for Paris. Then all the way back around the globe again for TDL.

I still think something like WDW, then DLP, HKDL, TDL and then the orginal would be the best to pull. But how ever one wants to pull this idea of a trip, more power to them. Id rather spend my money on something else really. As much as I love Disney, I could take a round the world trip. Maybe HKDL and TDL in one trip, but no more than that.

I've done it twice, but both times were before HKDL was built. What do you want to know?
