I don't think Disney was ever serious about building a second, separate resort in Southern California. Certainly not in that dirty dusty port, with huge Semi trucks plowing down the roads at all hours of the day.

It has been suggested by others before, that the plans for Disney Sea were simply a way of strong arming the City of Anaheim into shelling out more money for Disney's expansion plans in Anaheim.

At least the Disney Cruise Line materialized and we will soon have ships on the west coast. Maybe they can just dig a long canal through HB and Garden Grove and build a large harbor next to the DLR! lol

I can't wait to see if Disney cleans up around Long Beach compared to how Disneyland has cleaned up around their area of Anaheim.

Yeah God Knows Long Beach needs it, I wish all cities could be made to look so clean and beautiful.

    Long Beach has it's areas..........

If they can somehow make it down towards my street with their beautification I'll be very thankful!

Too bad this was never built.

Wait, what am I saying, there's still a chance for a 3rd gate, maybe it could be the same type of park, yet very different from the original concept, like this:http://www.micechat.com/forums/showt...52#post1812152
