We've already had the complaints department discussion regarding the loss of the Gallery to the dream Suite.
But this thread is intended to be a constructive thread in order to find a better location for the suite, that uses some other part of the Park that is already not used or under used.
Werner has an article on Yesterland about the fake hotels of Disney. Now I thought, there's several locations in the Park that are already hotel façades why not go all the way if possible? (Check out the link to Yesterland for pictures)
"Tucked away on a side street just off Main Street, the charming Hotel Marceline..."
This is a small façade that's just hiding part of the merch shopping mall that Main Street has become. Why not use the fore-part of this as a reception for a mini one room hotel? It could lead to a small lift up to a nice room (a'la Walt's) above Main Street's excitement, and if possible a balcony for Firework viewing could be included. Although I believe it is on the Tomorrowland side.
"The Main Street Hotel is right on Main Street, above the Disney Showcase and the Main Street Magic Shop."
Same as above.
"the Creole Hotel is located at the Frontierland Railroad Station in New Orleans Square."
Okay this one is on the wrong side of the tracks, literally! So perhaps not...
"Hollywood Tower Hotel in California Adventure"
Not in DL, but still.... okay now we're stretching it......
So do you have any other ideas? Amusing or serious. Let's hear them.
