I don't know what they are planning to do or were its going to be but i heard of this and im confused what it'll be and were it would go in DCA.

um....as far as i know, carsland is like a joke round here about the pixarfication of DCA...just a fat rumor we've made, lol

unless i'm mistake as well, anyone know something i don't know?

I remember the concept art too, and I think evetually it will go into DCA somewhere. There's no annoucnement or anything official besides the conept art at this point though.

Carsland is from a piece of Concept Art that was featured in this past year's Annual Report to Stockholders. The series of concept art was just that, concept art. There were no official announceents regarding what was shown.

The Screamscape page for Disney's California Adventure has the concept art for Toy Story Mania, Wonderful World of Color, and Carsland that was all featured in the report.

Maybe they could knock out Golden Nightmares and Muhhullond Madness, and turn that whole area into a Route 66/Cars theme.

I personally think it woudl be cooler to turn the Autopia into a Cars themed ride. They could have different models of cars that go on that same track, but they could put characters and buildings from Radiator Springs alongside it for theming.

It would have to be a part of fantasyland, though.

I don't think they should touch Autopia, except to maybe give it a referb, replace all the cars, and just add something to it. We don't want Tomorrowland to ebcome Pixarland.

If they did that and did add a Cars themed ride at DCA then they should get rid of Autopia if it's the same type of ride. Why have a car ride in both parks? I know Autopia is popular for the kids but they need to update that sucker ASAP.

I was thinking more of a Test Track type of ride with you getting ready for a race that ends with a really fast final lap inside a show building that makes it look like you're racing past lots of cars. Anything at this moment would be better than Whoopie Goldberg though.

That would be cool if they can do something similiar to the racing cars they have at an arcade at City Walk. I tried it once and they were pretty fun. I "hit" a wall and "spun out". My car didn't necessarily didn't do anything during the race except for tilt but it sure felt like I was spinning out. Anyone ever tried that?

"really fast" isn't the best words I would use to describe the speed on Test Track. The attraction tops out around 65 MPH. I really think there'd have to be a bit more going for a Cars attraction to work on the still problematic Test Track technology.
