    Re: Free admission to Disneyland

I am too honest. If I did this to go shopping, I would go shopping. I would feel so guilty going on a ride.

I first turned a friend on to the One-Hour Shopping Pass back in 1968, and I'm pretty sure it existed even before that. We used to take advantage of it almost every year at Christmastime for years after that...so indeed it has been around for quite a few years.

An hour really isn't very long. I would shop and get out if I was going to use one of these passes. Taking a chance on a ride could turn into one expensive "shopping spree."

Anyways if you go to the Guest Services window near the main entrance to the park, you can get a "shopping pass" which is an hour admission to the park. You give them a 1 day ticket deposit ($71 I think is the current) and they give you a little ticket with a specified time. If you return on time, you get your deposit back, if you don't then youv'e paid for a ticket. Sometimes they ask for a receipt and sometimes they don't. Just wanted to let Ya'll know.
Seems like a lot of trouble to go to DL for an hour

    Re: Free admission to Disneyland

We have talked about using it on a blackout day if we arrive early for our vacation in March as we have the deluxe pass and saturday is a blackout, just to go in grab a dole whip and a cookie, autograph book, stuff to get ready for the week triip, etc but it makes me too nervous! I think it owuld be really cool and fun, but a very stressful 60 minutes as I would be very nervous about getting back on time.

It would probably be better to just buy a $30 blackout pass. The $30 would be worth it if it means that you don't get a stress-related tumor!

    Btw, I'm really not eight.

So I'm sitting at my computer thinking, hey, I need a creative signature so that people on micechat will remember me. And then it hits me: I'll just type it up!
    I sure am creative.
