The Demise of Hot Tarzans in DL.

On MiceChat, one of the very first topics brought to light some
valid concerns about the characters appearing in DL. It's been
a little over 2 years since that topic has been off the radar.
This topic was "The Demise of Hot Aladdins".

Fortunately, the "Aladdin" situation has stablized, and improvements
have been made. However, as the title of this sequel topic states,
it's time to address this concern for another character, Tarzan.

Shortly after Disney's "Tarzan" was in theaters, Tarzan made
appearances in DL. A meet and greet with Tarzan was placed at
the base of his tree, and a fiberglass cartoon version of him was
placed in the tree. No one really cares about the cartoony
version of Tarzan in the Tree. What people wanted was that meet
and greet with Tarzan, in Person.

That, unfortunately was not to be. However, Tarzan did find a permanent
place on a enormous gold elephant, for a 5 year continuous availabilty.
with the beginning of the 50th celebration, DL received a marvelous new
parade, BUT without hide nor hair of golden elephant sitter.

Not only is there a Demise of hot Tarzans in DL, there is a complete Lack!

This year, the same syndrome has even affected the Grand Finale float
in The Parade of Dreams ~ ALL the Princes have mysterious disappeared!
Is this some sort of evil plot by Disney Villains to keep these princes away
from their princesses and their fans?

It does appear that this problem is a LOT more severe than it was 2 years ago.

In the spirtit of the topic on which this is founded. Please bring your pictures
here so that we can all be alerted to whether these concerns
    are being addressed by Disneyland!

    Bring back the hot men
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I am just sad that in the original Aladdin thread, all of the pictures are gone.

Forget Tarzan, why not have Prince Eric in the Park? I've never seen him as a *meet-n-greet* with Ariel anywhere! And for me, he's much hotter than Tarzan. It must be those skin tight blue pants he wears!

Prince Eric was my favoritest prince. He is hot and the guy that voices/voiced him is/was hot too.

I remember when Tarzan first showed up at the parks he had a painted on 6 pack then it was a body suit with shading. Now he's not there.... just saying.

I have yet to see any photographic evidence documenting the decline in Tarzan quality (or the representation of any quality level). Please remedy this.

Wink Re: The Demise of Hot Tarzans in DL.

When the film first came out, I do remember a meet & greet at the base of the Tarzan tree with Jane (who cares?) and a super hot Tarzan in the flesh.! I remember because I was with my mom and when we saw him, we turned and looked at each other and said "Wow!". I did think at the time that it was a little inappropriate for the kiddies to see that amount of skin exposed on a Disney character but I got over that real quick!
I've seen the cursed treasure and I know where it be hidden...

I have a picture here in my cubicle with my mom and I on either side of a hot, shirtless (painted abs) Tarzan.... I guess I need to scan it and go gold. It must have been taken Jun ~99?
