    How much is too much?

This year, my fourth as a premium AP holder, I decided to tally exactly how many times I went to Disneyland from the beginning of my pass renewal, until its expiration date. The grand total............over 44 times!

I have been on 4 private VIP tours this year (thanks to getting a celebrity friend hooked on the park) which did not require us to wait in line for any attraction and allowed us some brief off stage views of the park. The same friend also flew my family and his to Disneyworld where we were treated to an unbelievable 4 days of "Magic".

I only say this because even after so many visits and so much access to the park, I would still rather spend my off time enjoying Disneyland (and DCA I guess) with the people I love most in the world. As a matter of fact I will most certainly visit twice in the coming week alone (one for the last VIP tour until Christmas)! How much is too much Disney?

I think there's no such thing as too much, but there is such a thing as excessive Disney I suppose. Like going on your favorite ride over 30 times in one year after only about six trips...gee, who does that...? *is completely innocent*

There is no such thing to me as too much disney or disneyland....each experience is different so nothing can be exactly repeated

Only you can tell us when there is too much - otherwise, I think you should go everyday if you can! I don't blame you!

I get to much sometimes. I'm not sure if it's disney per say, maybe it;s just the crowds and dealing with rude people. Once a month has been working out pretty good. I know when we spend the night I'm ready to go at about 11am the next day.

Please refer to the text at the bottom of my signature ...
    Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?
DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.

Re: How much is too much?

I know that I, personally, can max out on Disneyland. It becomes less special if I go too much. I'm very happy for those who have the means and the desire to go very frequently, but I know that I have my limits, and so do most other people.

I think it's a balance thing. If I spend too much time in the park, I can't spend enough time out of the park thinking about the park.

I like going once in a while.

If I would go every week, I think I would get bored of the place.
(Though, funny enough, I would like to work there some day!)

I don't think that there's too much disney either. If I could I would go everyday! I'm envious of those who have that opportunity and still thankful for the amount of trips I've been on.

I think as long as you are able to experience new things, then the parks might never get too old. IMO it's when you have the same routine and do the same things every trip is when it gets old. But new experiences doesn't necessarily mean new attractions. It means meeting new people, taking different family and friends to the parks, or even getting something new to eat...you get totally different experiences in all these scenarios.
