    M&F Parking Structure Question

    Any parking CM's here?

What happens if you leave your car in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure overnight?

Best case scenario: they don't do anything.
Worst cast scenario: they give you a ticket and tow your car.

They can't give you a ticket, it is on private property. (Though the city of Anaheim has the right to ticket vehicles parking in the Handicapped parking places without the proper permits - California State Law).

But being on private property, Disney COULD tow your car if the proper signage is posted. But Disney understands that people maybe had too much to drink at DCA and/or the bars in DtD and the Hotels, or the car broke down and you need to get someone to help you out.

I presume they go around and check on the cars parked overnight (they also allow some CM's to park in the structure, especially those working the overnight shift). And if the same car is in the lot overnight multiple nights, then a decision might be made to remove it.

I have never heard of anyone having their car towed if they left it there for one night, and removed it the next day.

I hear they shrink the cars and add them to the Autopia attraction.

In this age of terrorism warnings, I'm surprised they allow any cars to be left on the property overnight. I certainly wouldn't feel to comfortable seein a car there first thing in the morning, knowing it had been left there...

What's the difference if it's left overnight or not?

    Yeah what he said heh.

If someone was gonna try to drive in with a bomb filled car or anything, it being there overnight is irrelevant.

    Re: M&F Parking Structure Question

I'm paranoid, ok?!? Alright, true, it makes little difference. Unless they drive in at the end of the night, when there are no parking attendants at the entrance, and detonate the next morning, during the peak arrival time...

I'm just wary of any car sitting by itself, and have been from long before 9/11.

Maybe I read Christine one too many times...

Not true. If someone wanted to get away from committing such a dispicable act, it would make sense to park it in the morning and set the timer to blow the next day so as to give you more time to escape ......

Think about it. If someone were to blow up M&F, the airports and other key points would be locked down. A terrorist, unless they were a suicide bomber, would probably be wise to be outside the inevitable security perimeter (if not back in their home country) when the bomb went off. Otherwise, they might be able to trace the explosion to a specific car, or perhaps a specific location within the structure, which Disney might be able to translate into an approximate arrival time, security camera tapes could then be reviewed to ascertain a list of suspects, and WHAM! the bomber gets arrested at the airport .......
