    Woody and Jesse Pull Strings?

Do those pull strings on the Woody and Jesse character's back work? Anyone ever pull their string to find out?

If they actually worked, I imagine that they would do what they did in the movie or they would on most dolls. Mainly that they would produce a vocal recording of the character. Still I doubt they actually work since that woudl mean that people would be pulling on them all the time and possibly damage the costumes.

Yeah. Think how annoyed the CMs playing those two characters would be if the strings did work. I don't think Buzz Lightyear's buttons work so I doubt the strings work.

I never noticed them before but I think it shows excellent attention to detail. I would have understood completely if they left them off (big temptation for people to pull them).

These strings work a little different than their toy counterparts. You pull these strings and three large men escort you out of the Park.

The pull strings don't work and I have seen adults pull hard, causing the string to break and the character to go flying backward.

For a surprise, someone pulls on the cord...and a white parachute deploys!!

    Instant ghost!!!

(don't really have a way to tie it into the movie...other than saying it was taken out from the original storyboard...)

Thumbs down Re: Woody and Jesse Pull Strings?

It's ok if a small child tries to pull the string... but when some idiot grown adult pulls hard enough, causing the character to fall down to the ground having to be helped off stage (and a torn costume). It's happened more than once, trust me. Most of the time it's full grown dads and moms that do it! Teenagers actually aren't really the problem as you all probably think.

    Spoiler
So, no the pull strings do not work.

Also, somewhat on the same subject- Dad's are the ones who love to find out if Mickey/Minnie is girl to (their hands are busy). So sad, but that's just how guests are.

If you see the white arrows on the characters, that means the strings are working!!
