Whatever happened to the little things that made this already off-the-shelf ride somewhat unique? I remember that the swings used to look like bees, with bee heads on the bar that came in front of you. It made the attraction a lot more fun to ride- and to watch. Like you were riding on bees- or, if the bee heads weren't on, that you were the bee! I haven't seen those in use since 2001. And I distinctly remember reading about there bee-ing (no pun intended) orange scent pumped into the orange, a bit like Soarin'. As far as I know, that hasn't been done either. I wish DCA could have more attention to detail like Disneyland- or at least hold on to the ones it already has/had. Oh, and it would be great if the Orange Stinger didn't open later than the park does by an hour or two (another cost-cutting decision).

My grandmother bought one of those today, and I swear, the freshener liquid stuff smells exactly like the orange scent on the Orange Stinger/Soarin'.
