    Ernest S. Marsh/ IASW Art

Here is my latest piece of art depicting a scene from Disneyland. This drawing depicts Disneyland Railroad locomotive Ernest S. Marsh with Holiday 5 cars in tow passing the IASW facade at night during the holiday. This drawing measures 9" X 12". It was a lot of fun to do, alot different than my first drawing, Ward Kimball, which some of you may recognize because it was on the cover of Steve DeGaetano's latest book From Plantation to Theme Park. This drawing is also an idea, the idea to have the hedges in front of the train cut down so one can see the engine's running gear in action. Right now those hedges spoil that view by covering up the engine all the way up to the running boards!

    Anyway, here is the art!

This may be our Christmas Card for this year!

That's really beautiful. It has a wonderful, magical holiday feel to it, and you can really get the feeling of the lights. It's quite twinkly.

I see what you mean, and I think I like the idea. The Disneyland Railroad in general is covered up too much by overgrown trees, tunnels, and in this case hedges. A railroad this special deserves to be viewed in its entirety.

Your drawings are beautiful and I like how accurate they are to the real thing, down to the last detail! This one reminds me a lot of the artwork in The Polar Express.

I love it. Do you sell anything? Like if you actually produced Christmas cards from this drawing, I'd buy some.

Your work should be displayed in the Disney Gallery. Oh, never mind.

I'm not selling anything yet, but I have thought about and might in the future.

Yes, too bad the gallery is closed, that would have been neat!
