Re: The Rumored New Tomorrowland E-ticket

After just looking at an old snapshot of tommorrowland it needs kinetic energy, the world of motion and space. The rockets, the peoplemover, the skyway all rolled into one moving wonderful ride...or how about those flying saucers that really fly this time , something along the line of the space vehicles used by the Jetsons... to the race pods in Star Wars the latest epic I believe... we need a world of motion. Going into a computer such as Tron I cant see since the operating systems change so rapidly and since computers are such a part of our daily routine not so fun anymore. A big space field with free flying crafts themed to leave the earth possible departing from DL Tommorrowland and taking us on a journey to space or infinity and beyond. The possibilities are endless!

What does your father have to do with Mission: Space? Is he an Imagineer or something?

Still, I'd love to see an Epcot style ride in the Innoventions building.

A new mountain where Autopia now is would be nice, but considering that much of Autopia sits on the roof of the Nemo show building it would be almost impossible to put something like a mountain on top of it...

I HATE IT when adults (who already drive cars) say "blah blah blah valuable autopia real estate blah blah blah"

Can you just leave one of the simple joys of childhood - driving your own car around in Disneyland - alone. Thank you.

Driving may not seem futuristic to us - but it is something to look forward to for someone who's not old enough to get their license.

I predict that kids would hate that ride - it would run more empty Omnimovers than full ones through.

How about NOT an old 60s ride or a new mountain just for the sake of a mountain. The future is about... MOUNTAINS?

Oh yeah and no PeopleMover either. I want a ride based on the vehicles they drive in the Incredibles (Jetsons-style space cars).

Why would any kid or kid-at-heart hate the experience of shrinking to the size of an atom?

You sound like cranky old George Darling telling Wendy her stories are "Poppycock." May bigger imaginations and spirits of youth prevail!

Cool Re: The Rumored New Tomorrowland E-ticket

Let's do a poll: I'm certain the average age of those clamorring for a return of ATIS is about 55 y.o., not the ideal target demographic for Disneyland...

Atoms are not as exciting to today's youth as they were during the Cold War.

I got an idea. Why don't we establish a "One-Way Mission Space" for all the smartypants young people who think demographics and being hip are more important than a timeless story and a vivid imagination?

Re: The Rumored New Tomorrowland E-ticket

If I had my druthers, I would:
    * Build Star Wars land out there. I would incorporate a new "floating" Autopia into it.
    * Move Star Tours 2.0 and Jedi Academy (which I detest in its current spot) into the Star Wars land
    * Put back a re-Imagineered ATIS in the now-vacated Star Tours spot.
